I've been going to Saldamarco's for over 25 years! Back in the day when Andy Saldamarco was alive ( I think he passed in 2019-2020?) I have NEVER HAD A BAD/WRONG GRINDER ordered here! Tommy D.(the current owner has a great staff! considering it tough to get good help) My go to is the Morgan Huskey,Godfather,Sinatra, Italian combo...Any and ALL sides sausage and peppers, Panini's Caprese salad etc! NEVER A BAD MEAL/ORDER or "rude" deli people! You drive...
Have been going here for 20 years, and sad how small the portions are, and prices have gone up like crazy.
Got a chicken parm eggplant combo as I usually do, twice in one week, and barely any filling in it.
The second time, I even called to order and asked if they can fill it up a bit more than last time. $12 for a hard roll. They don’t care about their customers.
There are better deli’s like Bradley and wall in Madison, and old school house in Madison.

Small servings, and they never make take out orders until you are actually there. Same thing each time I go. But, after you finally call their attention and they dig up your ticket, the sandwiches are pretty good.
