“We are full-time wedding photographers, and we had the pleasure of photographing a wedding ceremony and reception at Georgina’s on a summer day with a wonderful couple. The space in the back of the restaurant turned out to be larger than expected in person and amazingly well suited for photos both during the wedding itself and after with the couple and their friends and family. We used the ceremony space and the small bridge to make some very cute shots. Moving inside we were able to enjoy a sweet and intimate evening with some fantastic food. Everyone loved it all from what we could see, and the couple was very happy with the wedding and how the photos came out. Our thanks to the considerate and attentive staff, too! “Our family has been going to Holiday Pizza for years. We are always welcomed by amazing people and great food! The alfredo fries are an experience in and of themselves!! Holiday Pizza is a gem in Ellington and I have recommended it to everyone I know :) Also, I love their new location at 117 West Road in Ellington.“

“Took a trip to DiFiore Ravioli shop in Ellington, CT. They make 15 varieties of homemade Ravioli, sauces, oils, amazing desserts, and more. We picked up the TENDERLOIN & BACON ravioli, and the SHRIMP & ROASTED GARLIC ravioli. They were out of the lobster ravioli, but we picked up the homemade Tiramasu. While there we saw they made gourmet sandwiches, which we ordered and ate outside. They were amazing, so big, we could only eat half (pics taken after we started) Great place, staff were fantastic!! Very nice people. We will definitely return!!!“

“Sometimes pickup can be a bit of a mess, but the people who work there are always really kind. The pizza is never a let down. The crust is a little thicker than a lot of places around and the sauce they use is delicious. The specialty pizzas that we've tried have all been really good as well. Highly recommend.“

“I can not speak for their other locations, but the Storrs location is great! All the staff, from the bartenders (shout to Zeke and Ethan!) to the servers to the kitchen chefs, are all great people that bring amazing energy. The food, in my humble opinion, is delicious. And the gelato is some of the best I've ever had (I grew up 30 minutes from Philly, so I know good gelato when I taste it). I won't say the "bad" reviews have no merit, but my personal experience, after coming here for a little over a year, had been nothing if not great. If you're in the area as a student, visiting family, etc., do yourself a favor and check it out. Square Peg Storrs is one of THE BEST spots for food, drinks, and fun in the area.“

“I came here last night for the first time after a recommendation and so glad we did cause they did not disappoint. The decor is a little dated however we have the nicest waitress Natasha who made the evening so great. She was very prompt and friendly and really funny. The food portions were a generous size and everything we had was really good. We never once asked for water refills, she just kept them coming. Amazing staff. Amazing food. Will be returning to our new local favorite spot in the very near future and hopefully will get the same amazing waitress.“
