Hard to find a diner anymore in SC. So try to visit when we come back on visits. Did not disappoint!

Turkey BLT and Soup Bathroom is clean
Got seated at table and waited 15 minutes to order. Then was presented with wrong order. Eventually my food came out. Food was really good evening though the sandwich was not on the type of bread I requested and said no mayo and still had mayo that I scraped off with the spoon from my coffee. Never was given any napkins or utensils.
Also, got a coffee. Never once asked if I wanted a refill.
So, now after finished eating and another 15 minutes from completing my meal and no one came to check if I needed anything.
Ended up going to the hostess stand to get my check, pay and leave. Then I found out I was uncharged for my soup and sandwich choices when there was nothing said about an upcharge.
I normally do tip 25% or above for normal service. The only saving grace was the food tasted good. I ended up leaving with no tip. Typical on this bill I would have left a tip of $8 on a $17 bill.
Definitely not returning as this was my first and last. Way to welcome someone new to the neighborhood.

My kids and I were adventuring at Westfield Falls nearby and decided to come here for lunch. We were immediately impressed by the exterior. There were some random outdoor tables I felt too uncomfortable to ask if we could sit at given they were across the parking lot. We didn't have to wait to be seated. I would have loved to cleaned the table myself, but you can't win them all. I was excited about all day breakfast, it was typical diner food. My kids said the fries were good. They were voted best resturaunts by connecticut magazine of 2024! So don't let us be judge and jury! However, of note, the bathrooms, the women's room didn't flush and the mess was childlike. There was enough staff to attend to it.

It's OK....nothing special. Did get 4 links of turkey sausage than the industry standard 2. Acoustics are bad, very loud and echoes badly. Menu is really Plane Jane. You could make this stuff at home. NOT a bad place just, nothing special. Oh, because the acoustics are bad, you WILL hear EVERY unhappy child that cries. Every single one.

Awesome diner in the Cromwell area of CT with amazing food! The corned beef hash is so good it should have its own religion!
Parking: Plenty of parking, but it will fill up because this place stays busy for a good reason!
Our server Leslie was amazing! She was very attentive and has such a warm smile that will brighten anyone's day. Food was served quickly and it was good.
