Your eggplant parm sub is my favorite part of driving to CT that and the Napoli stuffed cherry peppers. I always send a picture to tease the other workers when I stop by. Thank you

Visiting, first time here. Subs were great. Love the bread especially..but service was subpar. The lady seemed to either hate her job or maybe just having a bad day. The atmosphere didn't feel welcoming, (and for a first time experience, I’m not expecting a grand entrance at a sub shop by any means but i did feel like I was an inconvenience. Otherwise the food was great, place was clean and would return when we visit again. Hopefully just a fluke day!

Best subs in CT, still doesn’t compete with a Mass sub you can find in any town. One day CT will learn how to make a proper sub. In the interim there’s Nardellis which is great.

Something changed with their bread so i dont like it as much as i used to but this is one of the few acceptable grinder places that i enjoy.

I am like a nardelli's super fan! I'm originally from Connecticut but live in the west coast now and every time I come to Connecticut our nardelli's is my first stop! My favorite sandwiches is their eggplant parmesan. It's amazing. Now they have a lot of awesome vegan options which are also extremely tasty. Definitely a must try

They have a sign that says buy 2 large grinders and get free coleslaw, macaroni salad, or potatoe salad, so I bought 2 large grinders and they still charged me for the coleslaw. Other than that the grinders were great.

We headed to Cromwell for a celebration of life service but our entire family could not make it. When we visited CT, good memories included grinders. I contacted Mr. Nardelli via email on their site, he was very responsive. He said they could pack the grinders ready to travel without the bread getting soggy. Their workers were very accommodating and I’m happy to report we ate our grinders for dinner about seven hours later. They were delicious. We ordered four large Italian and one mini G for our grandson. In this day and age when you don’t seem to get a response from the service industry, Nardelli’s is the opposite. They were professional and the food was delicious. Looking forward to stopping by on our next Connecticut trip.

We went to Nardella’s on July 19, 2024., around 4:30 PM . I was looking forward to ordering a sandwich from there. They had discontinued one of the things I wanted that was OK, I was going to Try something else. There were two people on duty and young man with dark hair , and a young lady with blonde hair.
I have an allergy, so I was inquiring about some of the products that were in the case. I asked about if a particular item was breaded because it was hard to tell on that item, and I was told that all their items are baked. I said yes I know that’s not what I’m asking. I’m asking if this is breaded. Once again, I got from him the Items are baked telling me like 4 times never answering my very simple question. Then the blonde girl started to wait on me asking what size sandwich I wanted I said it’s been a minute since I’ve been here. What sizes do you have again? She said holes or halves I said OK we’re gonna do halves. I said mine would be gluten-free. she told me the gluten-free only came in a hole , with it with a bit of attitude I said that that’s fine. I still have it, and as she walked away, she was huffing and puffing that she had to go get the bread. At that point, We made the decision and left we didn’t want someone huffing and puffing that they had to make are sandwiches. That made us very uncomfortable!!!!!! Very poor customer service. We felt very disrespected and therefore we left without getting any sandwiches unfortunatel and vey disappointing !!! I would prefer to take my business where it is appreciated. Not where I am a bother.
