Food so good it inspired me to write my first Google review. I ordered a takeout bowl here a few times and the food was consistently MOUTH WATERING each time. Didn’t have to wait too long either. Consistent flavor, consistent portions, consistently kind staff. Authentic, delicious, and welcoming. I added some extra stuff and my bowl still cost less than my typical Chipotle bowl for 3x the flavor and 2x the portion. Tastes like home<3 This is obviously a restaurant that cares about the food and service that they provide, my only regret is not trying them out sooner

La Quinta Deli is an absolute gem in Danbury! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth that makes you feel like part of the family. The owner is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met he goes above and beyond to make you feel valued, not just as a customer, but as a person. They remember your name, your favorite orders, and even little details about you that make every visit so personal and special.
The atmosphere is unbeatable clean, inviting, and filled with positivity. It’s much more than just a deli; it’s a place where relationships are built and smiles are guaranteed. Whether it’s customizing your order to perfection or simply sharing a friendly chat, they’ll do whatever it takes to brighten your day. I honestly can’t imagine going anywhere else in Danbury because La Quinta Deli offers something you just can’t find anywhere else: a true sense of connection and care. Highly recommend!

This deli is AMAZING! My husband and I have been going there since the first week Luis opened. We eat there at least 2 to 3 times a week either lunch or breakfast. His food is outstanding, especially his fried chicken, his breakfast wraps and my husband loves his Challah French toast. He will make you anything you want, he’s very accommodating. He has exceedingly large choices on the menu. He is friendly and always greets you with a smile. His prices are more than fair. If something comes, not quite the way you wanted it, he will make it right no questions asked. In any business, small mistakes are inevitable. Just let him know and he will fix it. We highly recommend you go there for breakfast or lunch, you won’t be disappointed. Portions are large the food is delicious and price is right. What more can you ask for?

I have lived in the area for over 20 years and have seen many deli’s come and go at this location. Some have been good and others not so good. I would rate LaQuinta as the best I have seen there. Louis and his crew of hard workers do a tremendous job and really care for their customers. It’s a very friendly atmosphere and the entire place looks incredibly clean and the food is delicious. If you want a change to your order off of the menu they love to accommodate you. I go there a lot and make lots of changes. I would strongly recommend giving LaQuitas a chance. You won’t regret it

This place should be ashamed of themselves. Ever since they changed names or owners whatever they did they do not know how to make a sandwich, their quality ingredients is dollar tree quality. They skimp on everything, 2 pieces of Turkey, a soggy nasty tomato, they didn’t even bother adding the cheese. Oh don’t pay $3 for extra bacon, they give you literally 2 crumbs. They also give you one small thin sliced lettuce, when you request panini style but it’s not anywhere near a panini like their pictures. They didn’t even bother to press it flat and it came cold. The onions I requested were thinner than paper and that’s being nice. They were translucent and you couldn’t taste them, granted they put a half inch transparent onion on. I’m Pretty sure the quality of food at jail is better. I hope they close down

I wish I found this place sooner. Walking in the door, their greeting makes you feel like family and it's obvious they are genuinely happy to have you as a patron. The food is amazing and the prices are reasonable. Been craving a Rueben Sandwich and they didn't disappoint. Perfectly done!
