Melania’s Main Street Diner is a great little spot for breakfast, with generous portions and excellent flavors. The Mexican offerings are always a highlight, including the chicken burrito, Mexican chorizo breakfast burrito, tripa tacos, and lengua taco. The mild and spicy tomatillo sauces are delicious and really elevate the meal. The best menudo (trotter and honeycomb stew) in America is also available, a perfect hangover medicine. The tripa tacos are excellent, and the oatmeal/banana smoothie is delicious. The atmosphere is comfortable, with friendly and nice workers and relaxing music. However, the space could use some updating, with more attention to cleanliness and upkeep. It also tends to run warm inside. Another drawback is that orders are sometimes messed up. Still, the quality of the food makes it worth the visit.
