Xay's Kitchen is a Lao and Thai restaurant that has been open since 2019 and has built the kind of loyal, repeat customer base that small independent restaurants in this category rarely sustain. The menu covers both cuisines with enough depth that it rewards exploring beyond the obvious entry points, and the portions are generous relative to the price across most of the menu.

Excellent Food. First time coming here and it did not disappoint. Cozy little place. Will definitely come here again and try some other dishes. I had the chicken pad Thai this time around. Very reasonably priced.

We have been here many times and this was the first time we left disappointed. We ordered Pla Lard Prik and it was bad. The sauce and presentation was good but the fish itself was over fried to the point that only a few oz of edible meat was left and the rest was skin that was harder than leather and head/bones. Looked great but almost totally inedible. And this was the most expensive item on the menu! The other 2 items were good. I will definitely come back but never order fish...
