The Farm on Deep River is a charming and scenic destination that offers a relaxing and enjoyable experience for visitors of all ages. Located on a beautiful farm, it features outdoor seating options and picturesque fall views, making it an ideal spot to enjoy the changing seasons. The farm is home to adorable animals such as goats, llamas, and chickens, which guests can feed and pet, especially fun for children. There is a cozy outdoor play area with a little tractor and space for kids to run freely, providing a perfect setting for families.
The farm serves delicious coffee, including the best in Connecticut, along with freshly baked goods like cinnamon rolls and sweet treats that are known for being fresh and tasty. Visitors can also purchase farm-fresh eggs, local merchandise such as Deep River Coffee and Honey Cone Ice Cream, and other items that add to the farm’s appeal. The farm has reconfigured its parking for better access, including a small ramp for wheelchairs and walkers, ensuring everyone can enjoy the experience.
A significant part of its charm is the nostalgic atmosphere that has been carefully recreated and upgraded by new owners who took over after the original farm was sold and sat empty for years. The current owners have worked to bring back the magic and continue offering a mix of delicious offerings, farm experiences, and outdoor fun. Overall, The Farm on Deep River combines nature, animals, good food, and cozy vibes, making it a beloved neighborhood spot and a wonderful place to visit regularly.
