“In my opinion, Thai Tanic has some of the best Thai food in CT. This establishment has a warm and family-run atmosphere, with kind staff. Their pumpkin curry is one of my favorite dishes and their tofu texture is a 10/10 (which I have had trouble finding at any other restaurants)! I highly recommend stopping by, you won't regret it! :)“

“Incredible food and the owners are some of the most friendly and down to earth people I've ever met. Highly recommend the Mac Attack and the Empire State Chopper, both are fantastic and delicious.

“1st visit. Ordered take out & grabbed a coffee during the brief wait. Service was efficient & friendly. Establishment was clean & welcoming. I deeply appreciate that they offer tofu. We ordered the “Vito” swapping chicken out for tofu & the “Cypress Garden” sandwiches… both were delicious. The prices were reasonable for the high quality of the ingredients. One was $10 the other $12 & this price even included choice of side: pasta salad, apple or chips. We chose the lemon basil pasta salad & it was just as delicious as the sandwich’s. Thank you…you’ve won this customer over for sure!“

“This has become my new go to pizza parlor in town! The service has been excellent and you really cannot beat the prices. Greek style pizza which is made quickly and tastes great. The pie we like to get is spinach, bacon, and feta. I have also gotten a sausage calzone and a BBQ chicken grinder and all 3 of these items have been fantastic. I will definitely be back for more!
Cash discount on your order too so I definitely recommend taking advantage of that if you can“

“Great place. I’ll have to make it a point to work it into the calendar more. Beer was excellent. 24 different beers on tap I believe. Burger was great - big and delicious and my wife enjoyed her wrap. Bonus points for the King Diamond and Rob Halford photos on the wall. I didn’t get to check out all the prints. Cool spot. “This was my first time dining at this restaurant. Gina the waitress was super friendly and very accommodating. The Atmosphere was great as we had a view of the stream. I had lobster taco which was pretty good, it could of been a bit more seasoned, but overall i enjoyed my meal. The cost is somewhat on the pricey side. I would definitely go back.“

“There is no doubt that Gouveia is photographer’s dream, and as full-time wedding photographers, we have captured engagements and even surprise proposals here on the beautiful property. Whenever a client asks about a nice view in the hills, a vineyard or winery, something that feels almost like Europe, we tell them we should go here! We love how much the owners and staff allow us to use the property with ease. The scenic vineyard looks like a perfect set was constructed for us, and the long leading lines of the rows and driveway all help our captures. We love going by the pond with couples, too, making it feel even more like we have transported to somewhere that isn’t Connecticut. It’s never a problem having other visitors there, or being able to hide and then catch the moment the proposal is happening. You can blend in and then pop out with any family or friends to the jubilant couple, moving right into the engagement session on the perfect property for it. Sunsets are always because of the clouds, and if you hit the right evening, it can be unforgettable here. The couples all grab some glasses at some point as well and love the offerings Gouveia has in all regards. “So on my way home and I’m starving but I’m in Durham and it’s almost 9:00 pm so I pull into Carmines and the guys r outside. I walk up and they say r u picking up and I’m like no I wanted one of the frozen pies in the case. Sorry register is all closed. Ok thanks anyway I said and one of the chefs hands me one of his pies and says enjoy. Love you guys at Carmines.“
