We bought coffee, and told the cashier we also wanted to see the cats and then have some food later. They said it’d take a bit to prep the cats room and we can just wait in the cafe area, so we waited. About 40 minutes later, we checked in and were told it’s almost ready and they’d come grab us in 10 mins so we should just wait. However, no one came, and we saw other groups being taken in instead. We waited more, but were never called so we went to ask again. This time they said we actually needed to speak with the owner to get in the room—despite them knowing we’d been waiting about 1.5 hours at that point. If that was how it works, they could’ve just said so at the beginning. I understand it’s a small business, and we would’ve been fine waiting that long if it was for room prep, but it was frustrating to be given different information each time while others were prioritized. We just gave up on seeing the cats and left the cafe at this point, because we were so confused.
Based on how they respond to other reviews, they might have something to say about this one too—and that’s okay. I just wanted to share what happened to us here so that people can avoid feeling the same way.

Just the ordering process was so slow that we left without ordering. Absolutely ridiculous.

We enjoyed this place so much! The owner was great and asked us where we were from.
We had sandwiches and an iced coffee.
We were then shown the room with the cats and that was so much fun. You can leave a donation for the cats.

Saw/ heard about this place online (because online cat videos ARE LIFE!) and it more than fulfilled my feline friendly heart. Food was delicious, ambiance was chill, art was fantastic... AND CATS!!! I genuinely enjoyed every bit of it. Would happily come back through the doors. And then back out. And then back in. Then back out again. Maybe stand in the threshold and look up at the ceiling, waiting for a sign from the gods on what move to make next.

This is a great place to grab coffee, tea, bite to eat! We stopped because of the uniqueness of the name and how interesting the cafe looked. This is a cat lovers paradise, so much to look at every turn whether you are inside or outside…truly a gem for all to see.

My husband and I enjoyed our visit today. And meeting the owner Mark was so nice. Thanks Mark for being so kind and friendly, the vibes when entering your place was also a treat. We enjoyed our beverages and the conversation.

What an unforgettable place to visit, I wanted to stop after leaving our Postcard Cabin. We enjoyed the photo opportunity as Two Wrassling Cats.

Very unorganized, girl ringing us up was nice, owner not as much. Had to ask about where my drink was after people who ordered after me got theirs before me. The male making the drinks then kept questioning what I ordered after politely telling him a handful of times. Can't see the cats unless you pay a fee and wait who knows how long.
As for the atmosphere we definitely did not feel welcomed and the guy making drinks definitely had a red aura to them. A kid sneezed twice (covered his nose and everything and it was definitely just allergy based) and the guy glared at him. Like a full on glare to a kid who was very polite, covered his nose and went right outside after he got his drink.
Coffee was okay, the ice tea is just that, baked goods were fine didn't order food because of the wait.

Two Wrasslin’ Cats! What a fun and amazing place! Tucked away in the beautiful countryside in East Haddam, we found a sweet, colorful café that’s all about cats… but actually, it’s about so much more. To sum it up in a word, Two Wrasslin Cats is about love, love for all people, love for equality peace, and freedom, love of good food AND love for cats! I mean… they had me at cats, the rest? Merely an amazing bonus! We started out in the café, a fun, eclectic space decorated with cat memorabilia and a menu of cat-themed homemade, gourmet sandwiches. This is not your junky pre-made stuff! The sandwiches were fresh and delicious. My veggie wrap was full of fresh flavorful roasted veggies and my friend had a great tuna sandwich. Our coffee drinks were expertly crafted and not too sweet. We came for the cats, but we really enjoyed the food! After lunch, we waited a few minutes to get in to visit with the cats, a gorgeous family of six littermate siblings that have grown up together at Two Wrasslin’ Cats. These kitties know their role is to be calm and chill and to welcome pets and indulgence from strangers and they do it very well! What nice, sweet, peaceful felines. It was a pleasure to meet each one. We got a chance to speak with the owner about his beautiful and unique mission and his passion shines through with every word. What a pleasure. Guests are asked to make a donation when they visit the kitties and the money goes to help spay and neuter feral cats in the local area - a great cause. Our visit to Two Wrasslin Cats was great fun. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by for lunch and some quality time with the kitties. While you’re there, drop a little extra in the donation box to help further this fabulous mission.

This cat cafe should not be around! They are extremely rude and inconsiderate. Nowhere on the website does it talk about a limit of people allowed in at once and they change the prices at the counter thinking you will not notice. Didnt even see 2 cats only one. The food is poorly made with ingredients that taste frozen and never fresh. The coffee is inconsistently made and they will make you stand outside for hours. No place to make reservations. Waste of a 45 minutes drive after calling and being told we could get in with no warning of the 6 person limit. I would highly recommend STAYING AWAY!

I saw this cafe on FB and noticed that it was on the way home from a planned activity. I immediately loved what they stood for when I looked at their website and loved it even more when we arrived. Mark was so very kind and accommodating and our lunch was fantastic! For someone who can’t eat dairy and gluten I was so thankful I had many options. My boys loved every cat item they laid their eyes on!

My wife and I recently got married the Saturday before we came. We’ve been here before and there is a reason why we keep coming back. The owner is so welcoming. Asked where we are from, and our names and completely invited us into a loving environment (as usual). I can’t thank them enough for our lovely gift of comforting food, and loving nature of all their kitties. We thank you so much. We were not expecting anything, but we are appreciative of your support and gratitude! Love, Heaven and Kayla Bucchere
