The Quality of the food used to be good but has changed a lot. Too much fat on the meat like about 70% fat and 30% meat on the lomo saltado. The food is less portioned than before and still very expensive. The taste was not great at all but wasn't horrible either. 3 times in a row that I have come to dine in and they alwsys said the same thing that they don't have anymore avocado which is part of the bandeja paisa plate. Unacceptable to say you have something and each time they say the ran out and don't have that food item. Food took about 50-55 minutes to come out (that is insanely ridiculous!). Overall would never come back and would not recommend to anyone. It's too bad but there are better options and more food and faster service at different colombian restaurants such as Jerry's luncheton, donde el paisa, Saoco, noches de colombia and etc.

Honestly one of the best Latin meals I’ve had in quite a while. The place has a simple, cozy decor and gives you that real mom-and-pop establishment feeling the moment you walk in. The host was extremely nice and welcoming, and the food was absolutely amazing from start to finish. We went for Mother’s Day and had such a great experience that we already plan on coming back again soon. Highly recommend!

So at first I was a little skeptical based on one car being in the parking lot at 3pm. However, once inside and ordered, it worked out perfectly.. it became very full in a matter of minutes.. the dish that my wife and I had was simply amazing… the staff was very polite and friendly.. the food again was delicious.. highly recommend…

Buena comida Colombiana en East Haven!
Restaurantji Recommends
Outstanding Colombian bistro in East Haven. Enjoyed a very well prepared set of typical dishes well prepared with nice fresh ingredients including a highly recommended Bandeja Paisa platter, jugo de guanábana, empanadas de carne. The service is outstanding. The restaurant setting is very simple no nonsense probably too simple for a Michelin Star but a restaurant well worth a visit.

The restaurant is a little old but the food is really good. The place is super clean and the service was really good. One of the pictures is from the bandeja, which my kids did not even wait for me to snap the picture. The empanadas were freshly made. I had the cazuela and it was delicious.
