I do not like how they are cash only.

I went back two days in a row. The ice cream and sorbet were fantastic. I enjoy eating ice cream and this is up there with some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had.

I don't know why I bothered coming back here. I live in Niantic and every year I come back here thinking it will be different. It wasn't. It was probably worse. The ice cream I tried today was chocolate peanut butter cup. I got a medium...there were only 3 tiny peanut butter cups. I expected that though. I bought two chocolate soft serve cones for my kids and they were truly kid sizes that were overpriced. The chocolate I got had very little chocolate flavor, but a whole lot of sweetness. Sweet was truly the only flavor here. Too expensive, they cater to the beach tourist crowd. Best just to avoid here and go down the street.

Great home made ice cream, lots of old fashioned candy and home made fudge. It's all good.

Perfect spot for ice cream and sweets

Nice small ice cream place in Niantic, right in the boardwalk and next to a beautiful tiny beach! Their blueberry ice cream is great and I definitely recommend visiting if in the area.

Went for ice cream. Did not know you have to go to the back deck. Not really special, in my opinion.

I have gone here multiple times alone and with my kids over the years. Today I went in and stood in front of the fancy chocolates and waited. When it was my turn I asked for just two truffles. One of them was a milk chocolate one. When the woman behind the counter picked the dark chocolate one out, I said oh no it’s the milk chocolate one I wanted. She then had the nerve to roll her eyes at me. Really? I wasn’t rude, obnoxious or anything. I specified MILK chocolate, not dark, so obviously I’m going to ask for it again. If you are rolling your eyes at customers, because you got the wrong piece of chocolate maybe working in a job that deals with people isn’t best. Even my daughter was shocked as she said- she was wrong- she picked out the dark chocolate one. Literally no need for that RUDE behavior but now I will never return due to this. I’ll travel over the bridge to Essex. Terrible customer service right there.

Fantastic homemade ice cream. An amazing variety of ice cream flavors. Great prices, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Great music and a great candy collection as well.

Peculiar experience here today. I walked inside the shop looking for a bottle of water after walking the boardwalk…it was over $3 for Dollar General brand water. I didn’t have quite enough cash on me (because who carries cash anymore, am I right?) so I opted to use my credit card. I stood at the counter while the girl ignored me for approximately an entire minute which is kind of awkward when we’re the only two people in the store. Finally when I’m acknowledged, I’m met with the predicament that there is a $10 minimum on all cards. I asked if I can buy ice cream here. she replies no that I’d have to go outside but it’s cash only. “Oh my gosh…ok give me $10 worth of chocolates, please.” She proceeds to pick out $16 worth of chocolates. I’m so frustrated at this point that I started laughing. I ended up paying $16 and some change for a bottle of water and chocolates that I didn’t want but ya just gotta smile and move on. So all in all, the customer service sucks (mostly all teenagers) and the silly shop rules suck but the chocolate was good, at least!

Great candy and ice cream store, with lots of variety. With the boardwalk nearby, the ice cream is especially appealing. A solid variety is available though for some reason is cash only. This is not much of an issue however as an ATM is nearby.

We had the raspberry chip and the coconut almond ice creams. They were both delicious! Cute shop too and great location close to the boardwalk access.
