“Smokey O'Grady's is a bar where the locals hang out, so you may feel like you're back in high school. If this is your first time here, don't expect the same service as a local. The food options are nice since they have a big menu. Drink options are endless here. Food and drink prices are reasonable. Our waiter was the bartender as well. This man deserves a good raise.“

“Had the special - Chicken Cordon bleu… didn’t expect anything amazing but it was amazing. Surprisingly, but beautifully, crispy on the outside with a slight sweet flavor. Chicken was perfectly cooked, not dry, with appropriate proportions of cheese/ham. Service was extraordinarily friendly. Topped it off with a nice Port wine and they had a decent selection available. Will be back.“

“We had a wonderful lunch recently at Cafe Flo! It was very crowded when we were there, but our server Paloma was so welcoming and attentive, and made our experience extra special. We also noticed her and other staff staying calm and collected when having to deal with some not-so-nice customers at a neighboring table.
Food was fresh and delicious, and of course you can not beat the view of the river. Our only suggestion is to add some background music on the patio, as it would add to the beautiful setting. We look forward to returning next year when we are in the area.“

“Great little place with really good food. If you enjoy real food you'll probably like this place. I had a feeling they were going to be special when I saw that french fries were not an option. I opted for turnips and baked beans with my ribs. Also got the Thanksgiving sandwich. I'm so glad I found this place so close to home and will definitely return.“

“01.26.25- 'Big Al's Reel Reviews' - Little Galapagos Restaurant ❤️ City of New London ❤️ I dropped into The Little Galapagos Restaurant this evening to review a couple of their popular menu items which were Chicken Wings, Thai Chilli Sauce followed by Carne Asada Ecuadorians Style meal that was actually really Dope ❤️ however the Chicken wings were not great at all so they earned a Thumbs 👎🏾 The atmosphere and service was really dope there and I am sure that had I ordered anything else on the menu besides the Wings would have been just as good as the Carne Asada. “Black point pizza is always my go to when I want an absolutely amazing pizza. for me I have the cooks keep it in the oven a bit longer so it stands up when you pick it up to eat. the sauce is to die for also. if you like your pizza a little more firm just ask and the cooks are happy to make your food exactly as you like. minor the owner is a stand up guy and really did good with this recipe. the salads and his homemade balsamic dressing is the best I've had from anywhere. if you have not come out to black point you are really missing out. We have been going for quite awhile now and have developed a friendship with her she is absolutely the best. When you go ask for her you won’t be disappointed. She is so friendly.

“Awesome place. We were in town for a USCGA event and stumbled upon this excellent, fun place.
The food was amazing, our waitress, Aria, was fantastic, and the two IPAs I tried were great.
I am kinda unique amongst IPA guys in that I despise hazies, so I was thrilled to find two nice and happy westies.
The one thing I found a bit puzzling was there were no TVs.
We will be up in the area quite a bit, and I am looking for a place to watch the NFL!“
