“I’m from the Bahamas and I have lived in South Florida for years. I now live in North Florida and haven’t had the same Jamaican food restaurant taste as I did in South Florida. Why the hell I just pulled up in Windsor Locks Connecticut and saw this place and thought to myself ‘Ain’t no way in the world this gonna be good.’ I was wrong. I got the curry goat and a beef patty. This place is it. 100%. And I never leave comments.“

“First time trying this place, and by far that's the only place that reminds me of jamaican food from New York. The service was great, the quantity and quality of the food for the price they charged honestly was more than fair. They gave me enough oxtail and jerk chicken for me to eat and take home. If you're hesitating, there is your sign to go and enjoy! Keep it up D&G Jamaican Cuisine, I'll be back soon. Bless up!“

“Great food, great service. The only Jamaican restaurant I've been to that ACTUALLY treats you like a valued customer. They have all the Jamaican staple favorites. I personally love the Escovietch Snapper, made to order and can feed two people. I also love the black rum cake and the patties (and I used to be loyal to a particular patty shop and have been converted.) I consider Jamaican Kitchen my go-to for Jamaican food in the area.“
