Ive lived in this area 50 years.I know a good clam pizza(New Haven).Got one tonight for the first time.Wow....on point.fresh.shucked..perfect...the real deal..good luck guys...its gonna get busy
We had 11 pies delivered to the Essex steam train for my kid’s birthday party—so kept it simple. IMHO a cheese pie is the test of a great pizzeria, and they were excellent! The traditional was a big hit and the gluten-free was called ‘the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had’ by the people who ate it!
The driver arrived on time and was courteous about the fact that the train was late and had to wait for us.

The owner was incredibly friendly! He told us if we sat at the far picnic table outside, we’d get a view of the river. It was beautiful!
