Came to Avellino's for a Friday night dinner with several friends for a belated, low-key birthday celebration. I made a reservation, and they were flexible with us coming about 20 min early. We did wait a little longer than I would have liked to order drinks, then appetizers, then entrees, when we would have been ready to order all at once. Our waitress was definitely busy; it seemed like there were a bunch of bus boys that weren't really helping her much. The bruschetta and fried mozzarella apps were fine (I wanted to try the eggplant tower but our group wanted these apps instead). I was a little underwhelmed with my gnocchi, which was warmish when it arrived and cool fairly quickly. My husband loved his cavatelli, and our friends enjoyed the lasagna. We were sad to decline dessert (we had a birthday cake waiting at home), because their special for the evening (homemade bread pudding with blackberry I think) sounded sooooo good. Inside the restaurant is so cozy and pleasant. They seem to be a family-owned business. We did had a nice time despite what I've mentioned, and I think I'd like to give Avellino's another chance sometime.

Ate at Avellino’s last night and you would be hard pressed to find a better Italian restaurant. The food, and the service were excellent. It’s a family place and you’re treated as one of the family. It’s small and very cozy. Treat yourself to dinner there, you won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend Avellino’s ❤️

Avellino's is a solid Italian restaurant. Nothing too fancy, but has a cozy atmosphere and very family friendly service. We loved our waitress, she was very sweet and personable. The bread and olive oil to start was fantastic - not your typical stale bread you often get served. This was soft and delicious. The insalata mista was light and refreshing. Eggplant rollatini was exactly what I was hoping for - not too heavy. Veal parm was also phenomenal. Wine was great as well. Will be back!

I went to a fake communion party here in 2008-2009.The family hosting this party said bring your all your family to the party.I am severely traumatized because I only liked cheese pizza and I didn’t eat the ham/bacon one like everyone else. The owner reading this should remember and know what I’m talking about. Even tho he will tell anyone who asks I’m crazy. My father gave away my name.So I’m just nameless meat/cattle they didn’t want to put out of its Misery.

My husband’s favorite restaurant opened again in time after pandemic restrictions for his birthday. Incredible service and amazing food. Parking can be difficult - but this restaurant is worth it.
