If you’re a fan of crispy chicken, Bonchon absolutely delivers. This was my first visit, and it made a strong impression right away. The shop looks small from the outside, but once you step in, it’s surprisingly spacious. Clean, well-lit, and nicely laid out. Comfortable for dining in.
We were seated immediately. Our hostess, Amber, was very patient and helpful since it was our first time. We decided to order a little bit of everything, and that was the right move.
We went with the five-piece drumsticks, split half soy garlic and half Korean BBQ. The chicken is double-fried, which gives it an incredible crunch on the outside while staying juicy inside. The soy garlic was savory with a touch of sweetness and very well balanced. The Korean BBQ had more heat and bold flavor, coated in a sticky, sweet-spicy glaze that keeps you going back for more.
The meal came with coleslaw, which honestly surprised me. I’m not usually a coleslaw person, but this one worked. Lightly sweet, creamy, and refreshing. It paired well with the chicken and helped cut through the richness.
We also ordered the seasoned fries, and they were excellent. Crispy, well-seasoned, and topped with garlic, parmesan, and parsley that actually added flavor instead of just looking good. Easily one of the better fry sides I’ve had with fried chicken.
Everything came out hot, fresh, and clearly made with care. If you’ve never had Korean fried chicken before, Bonchon is a great place to start. I’ll definitely be back.

co-workers were impressed by the sauce, crunch & quality. fries and rice were great. great value. will be doing repeat orders in the near future.
Very fast take out orders and the food is sooo delicious! Dine in is also fun and waiters are attentive and courteous.

Food was bad and overpriced. Way too salty which was unfortunate because I highly recommended it to my friends since I loved my local location in DC. Much to my dismay it was disappointing and super embarrassing for me since I had suggested the place. The strips are tiny and hardly filling.

First time ordering food from here and I wasnt too happy with it. The takoyaki were packed in a small unventilated container and turned to absolute mush. The bao buns were all split down the middle and a little pricey for only 3 of them. The corndog was very chewey and soft. Ah well, maybe they just had a bad day i'm not sure.

So don’t go here if you’re gay. So, I just left this place and they really upset me and my partner. So we love this place and I’ve been there before about a month ago we were craving it as we worked hard at the library for five hours. we were sat isolated clearly and also we got these dumplings which were amazing…although when the bimbap came. the show was over-the minute we tasted it we grew nauseous.we are still in pain. they did give a PARTIAL refund-which doesn’t excuse the discrimination we experienced and will struggle to forget forever. god bless these people and i hope they find happiness some day soon. Clearly unhappy people (they were also definitely Under the influence and were staring into space) one of the ladies also stared at us and deprived us from cutlery privileges. god bless everyone. #fairfieldmoms #keepourkidssafe

they hatecrimed me and my girlfriend. we came happily and have had very good experiences in the past. we were craving it like crazy and love their food. but we were discriminated against for being gay and hispanic which was very disappointing and sad. this is not a safe space.
