Colony Grill is a pizza mecca! Their thin-crust pizza is absolutely top notch. It's crispy, flavorful, and made to perfection. While they only offer three types (Margherita, Breakfast, and Salad), each one is unique and delicious in its own way. A standout is they do offer many available pizza toppings to make them your own. Sometimes less is more, and they’ve definitely nailed that approach!
The atmosphere was lively and a little loud to where it was hard to have a conversation. Perfect for a casual night out with friends.
Highly recommend checking it out if you love good pizza, great beer, and a fun vibe. We will be back!

We came before a show across the street at The Fairfield Theater Co. It was a Saturday night 9/27 Hadn’t eaten Colony and dreamed of it for 12 years till I moved back home recently. I had the hot oil stinger of course and it WAS BURNT & the drinks were WEAK & our wait for food was long BUT .. My friends salad pie was FAB and our server Ryan ?? ♥️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️♥️ !! I’ll be doing my Colony in Stamford ONLY from now on. My pie should have been tossed in the TRASH !! I’d post a photo if I could !! 👎🏻

Time for some new management. You’re a pizza joint in downtown Fairfield…should be prepared for a busy Friday or Saturday night. No reason a party of 7 should have to wait 2+ hours while watching multiple parties of 4, 5 or 6 that came after us be seated. Hostess told us 45 mins when we arrived…then when we checked an hour in..told 45 mins again…then when we checked almost 2 hours in…told 45 mins again. Avoid at all costs if you have a show to catch around the corner.

Last night we went to Colony to grab dinner before a show at the FTC, like we’ve done many times. We’ve been going to Colony for years now, but after last night’s experience, we will never be back to this location in Fairfield. We arrived around 6 PM and expected there to be a wait because it’s Friday night. The hostess told us the wait would be up to 45 minutes, so we decided to go to the bar area to wait.
A few of us ordered a drink and cashed out our tabs because we were expecting to be seated shortly. Around 7:15 we asked the hostess if our table was going to be ready soon and she said even though the app said there were zero parties ahead of us, it didn’t mean that we’re going to be next, so we decided to just order pizzas at the bar because we had to be at the show at 8 PM. Within the minutes of ordering the pizzas, we got the notification that our table was ready. We then went and sat at the table after we checked in with the hostess and she told us it would be no problem to have our pizzas come to the table instead of the bar. Right as we sat down the manager came over and told us that they normally do not allow people to move food from the bar to a table, but she would let it go for this time. Less than two minutes later she come back and tell us that we were not able to sit at the table and that we had to go sit at the bar. There were seven people in our party and she said there were four seats available at the bar. Well, when we got to the bar, there were only two seats available. We were with my father who recently had a stroke and is unable to sit in the high bar chairs and there was no way that we were all going to be able to eat our pizzas at the bar with two seats. By this time it was 745, so we asked the manager how long our pizza would be before it came out and she spoke to us very condescendingly and accused us of wanting to skip the line. That is not at all what we were doing. We had been there for almost 2 hours waiting very patiently and had already cashed out our tabs at the bar. I have never been to a restaurant where they are unable to move food from the bar to a table. Never. The manager did nothing to accommodate us or acknowledge that they they were wrong in telling us we could sit at the table. It would’ve been one thing if she was nice and understood where we were coming from, but instead, she accused us of trying to skip the line and get our food ahead of other customers. We never got our pizza after being there for two hours. We ended up getting pizza slices from the place a few doors down, and just go there from now on if we have a show to at the FTC. I do not recommend going to this spot.

Let me preface my review by stating that I love this place. Tonight, however, was a comedy (or more aptly, a horror show) of errors. From the wrong beverage being delivered, to failing to provide utensils for 5-10 minutes after food arrived (and only after 3 requests), to the pizzas being cold, and to a doggie bag including items that we asked not to be included. Really unfortunate. Colony is going into the dog house with me for some time.

Amazing pizza at Colony Grill! 🍕 Thin and crispy crust, perfect sauce, and flavors that keep you coming back for more. Casual vibe, quick service, and the famous hot oil pizza is a must-try. Simple place, but easily the best pizza in Fairfield! 🔥

Took out a bunch of pizzas last night (Saturday night). Overall, experience was great. I’m allergic to dairy and my friend is gluten free so we haven’t had pizza in soooo long and we were so glad to see they could accommodate our needs! It was a typical loud, busy Saturday. Food was great and held up in the car to be fantastic when we ate it. Only complaint was the toppings seemed to be more on certain slices but it was still delicious!
