DRIED OUT CARDBOARD. I ordered 3 pies to go. I was there when they came out of the kitchen, so they were very fresh. By the time I got them home, they were dried out like cardboard becuse they are making them so thin. When I tried to reheat, they were hard. I will not go back to this location.

Probably one of the rudest servers I’ve ever had. Not friendly, so passive & truly did not care about us. Asked for my boyfriends ID (who is 23) and took it for 10 minutes then came back with a beer. So so rude and I will never come back to this colony because of her.

We’ve been going to colony for nearly a decade since I first went to college in the area. The pizza is always consistently good, and the staff does a great job of bringing everything out quickly. No frills, just great food! It’s usually pretty unchanged here, but on this visit we did try their new buffalo chicken special and drinks, and we were definitely impressed. Always makes for a great walk down memory lane and I can’t wait for many more visits!

I went to Colony Grill for lunch last Sunday of Fairfield University parents weekend. The place was very busy it took awhile to get a table as they were on a wait. The wait for pizzas was also quite long after already waiting for a table. As me and my family were sitting waiting for our food, I noticed what appeared to be a male restaurant manager in colony clothing , sitting down at a table, eating both pizza and drinking several beers with a family. I found that to be highly unprofessional because the other female manager on duty seemed to be stretched very thin with how busy the place was. After he had finished what appeared to be a nice lunch, I watched him resume his duties walking around and then helping out the staff. I didn’t know managers were allowed to be drinking on duty and sitting down while other tables waited over 45 minutes for their pizzas and had to wait for a table. Very unsettling.
