This place has really changed since it was purchased from the original owners. I understand you want to diversify your offerings but nothing about E&T feels the same except the name.
The pastries have become much more sweet and dry at the same time. I also used to love getting the olive bread but even that comes undercooked and soggy. Please bring back the original recipes

I specially ordered a box of 30 pink macarons for my daughter's baby shower. They were exquisite! Cher was wonderful and very attentive to detail and when I went to pick them up I fell in love with the welcoming and warm vibe of the store. Would use again 100%. Thank you!

When this was owned by the french couple, the baguettes were pointy and crunchy on the outside. The pastries were delicate and beautiful. Now it looks like some dude on min wage is doing the baking. Not what it used to be. Go to the fairfield cheese shop, they have better baguettes for $ 1 more. Or go to wavehill in Westport for bread. Sorry this used to be my goto spot.
