Highest quality food in a warm environment with true “City” feelings. Can be busy on Friday and Saturday nights but we love going either for happy hour or after 7:30 for an amazing “late bite”. Had this amazing cheesecake for desert last night!

Just had dinner at Malibu with my wife, kids, and in-laws. Everyone loved their food, especially the Chorizo tacos! Service was prompt and friendly and prices were incredibly reasonable. Highly recommend Malibu!

We had a great time at Malibu for lunch. I got the Big Sur Bowl and it was delicious. We did order the yuca fries as a starter but literally 4 fries were plated. They were delicious so I would prefer more for next time! Our waiter was wonderful, perfectly attentive, and kind. There was another employee standing at the outdoor host stand that was loudly yapping up a storm about how she is always late because she watches too many insta reels. I understand enjoying conversation with coworkers, but it was disturbing to my meal. Lots of love!

Restaurant was nice. Food was good, atmosphere was nice and the service was great. The issue became the portion size. For the price, getting 3 tacos for a meal Is not nearly enough and should be considered an appetizer at best. I had the birria tacos dish and I can safely say that was not enough food for $20.00. I have been to many taco places where 3 tacos is a meal. Unfortunately these were tiny and under-filled. Do not go hungry if want tacos as an entree or expect to spend too much for a decent meal.

Malibu was an interesting experience. Food was good and I, along with my wife, loved the guacamole. The service was where things started to fall apart a bit. From the moment we were seated, it took quite a while before anyone came by to take our order. Even after that, the wait for our food felt unusually long, especially considering the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time.

We did appreciate the flavors like the fish tacos were fresh and the salsas had a nice kick but it was hard to enjoy the meal with the fact that we didn’t know where our server was half of the time. We also had to flag someone down for drink refills, which added to the overall experience.

That said though the atmosphere was fine and the ingredients tasted fresh so there’s definitely potential here. If the service was better, it could have been a much smoother experience. For now it’s a place we might try again but wouldn’t be crazy over.

It had been a while since I last visited, but since I was in the area with my wife, we decided to stop by during Happy Hour. Overall, the service was great—everyone had a positive attitude, and the young man who made our drinks was awesome and very attentive.

Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite hit the mark this time. The calamari tacos were a major letdown. They lacked flavor, were overly gummy, and had no crispiness or seasoning—we couldn’t even finish them. The Ropa Vieja Arepa had good flavor, but where was the actual arepa? The dish was mostly meat with just a tiny, bite-sized piece of arepa. I understand it’s an appetizer, but the arepa portion should definitely be a bit larger.

On a brighter note, the Mexican Shrimp Ceviche was delicious—I really enjoyed that.

As for the drinks, they were tasty but incredibly light on alcohol. My wife and I joked that they might’ve been virgin drinks. She’s a total lightweight, so if she couldn’t feel it, I knew I wasn’t imagining things!

In the end, we paid the tab and decided to head elsewhere. Great vibes and service, but the food and drinks missed the mark this time.

I came here with some of my family to celebrate my nephews win at his soccer game! They had cute outdoor seating we originally sat outside but it was too hot luckily they had some space inside for 7 of us. Juan was our waiter and he was very friendly, he checked up on us frequently, he was very helpful and attentive. Inside the restaurant is so cute! I love the vibe! Now, on to the food we had ordered a variety of things on the list of things ordered to the table- ahi tuna, steak, two Nashville chicken tacos. Yuca fries which were loved by the whole table although I would wish they would give a bigger portion they were great! Birria tacos, arroz con pollo, shrimp Al mojo, chicken quesadilla. Overall the dishes were great! My sister and law got some drinks and we both tried the la pinta and my nephew got the adios padre mocktail. I would recommend to give it a try! We will definitely be back!

Love Malibu! Weather was perfect! Only thing I would say is add some lounge beats to the outdoor patio!
