However, I spent over 40 mins trying to order this weekend for her and her friend, and there was no answer--no voicemail explanation as to what was going on. Just no answer. After Mass, we see it is closed up with a note on the door! I know for a fact, Henry, was given free rent during Covid and was making $$$ hand over fist b/c when I would pick up the take out, there was always a line and phone always ringing. To just move out in the middle of the night is pathetic and not even have a voicemail saying they are closed, it is just extremely rude. It is truly greedy on his part to complain about his rent when he was given more than his fair share. Rents in Fairfield are high but owners have to pay taxes, upkeep and other expenses tenants may not be aware of. I will not support his new place. Try Shiki Hana if you would like Japanese; it is very good and less expensive.

Food is cooked well and tastes good. Prices are a bit high, but suitable for the quality of food you are getting. The lunch special is a good deal, especially with the sushi. I have never had a bad experience here.

My friend and I stopped at Wild Rice in Fairfield for some sushi last week. Upon studying the menu we decided to get Pad Thai instead. We also got a roll of spicy tuna sushi and a seaweed salad. This was all to share of course. Wild Rice is in downtown Fairfield. You can sit inside or outside. They normally have specials for lunch, but not on Sundays or holidays. We got Chicken Pad Thai, which was a very large portion. It came with crushed peanuts, and very tender and finely cut chicken. Being unaware of how large the Pad Thai would be, we also got seaweed salad, which had a bit of a kick to it, it was delicious, and the perfect serving for sharing. Lastly we got a roll of spicy tuna. It was very weak. I've for sure had much better sushi in the past. It may not have been fresh this time, something was off about it. The Pad Thai was so delicious, it was fresh, flavorful and very filling. The peanuts and lemon juice were an excellent combo in this dish. The service was very quick and pleasant. I'd come here again, for the Pad Thai and the seaweed salad.

I can't even explain how delicious and amazing this place is!! My husband and I have been coming every Friday for the last several weeks and the food just keeps getting better!!! The owner Henry is so nice and kind and makes you want to return again! I love that atmosphere abd everything about it !!!

Fabulous dine in experience. The menu is packed with variety. Best sushi rolls to Chinese dishes, Packed with flavors. Service is okay but the food quality is just awesome. Over the weekend its much better to book the table in advance as the place get crowded for dinner time. Must Try- lobster Rangoon, cherry Blossom roll, kung po duo. Nice ambiance

I have been coming to Wild Rice since I was a teenager. never disappoints! my go to order is the pork fried rice a little spicy, the ginger salad, & the scallion pancakes. The food is always fresh and tasty. The service is polite and quick. I definitely recommend!
Ordered on Tuesday because I forgot they were closed so the website said I could pick it up tommorow tried calling today and they said they couldn't give me a refund so eat here if you wanna waste your time and money garbage 0/10

I had dinner here with my husband and in-laws a couple of weeks back, and it was absolutely delicious! We were visiting family in the area and my father-inlaw recommended for us to come here as he has been multiple times. We ordered the summer rolls for an appetizer, with their Szechuan dumplings. I love summer rolls and theirs were fresh and crisp. The dumplings were definitely the best I have ever had as they were served in a peanut sauce which I love. We also had the general tso's chicken, and the string beans. All of the food was delicious and did not disappoint. We left with very happy bellies lol. I've already been bothering my husband to come back here and I definitely recommend it to anyone in the area.
