“Best damn hot dog I have had in a long time I recommend the creamy Cooper with caramelized onions damn that was good I had two. Reasonably priced worth every penny don't drive by try it you won't regret it my friends. Mac and cheese was awesome cheesy schmeezy baby. Lots of other stuff dog related and side dishes. I would give it a six star if I could but there's only five. Very friendly service I like that.“

“This place was amazing! Searching for a good burger spot and this one popped up. We tried it and it was a hit. Food was delicious. Customer service was top notch. The owners there greeted us and sat us right down. You can bring in your own beer and the best part is they have a liquor store right next to the restaurant which made the experience overall the best.“

“If you haven't been to Capitol Lunch, you have not gone to New Britain, CT.They sell Martin Rosol hot dogs. The "sauce" is famous throughout the area.If you order them with "everything", they will come with mustard, onions, and the sauce. There are other options and configurations, but I prefer to get them that way.Bonus... You can burp hours later and enjoy the flavor all over again... Delightful!They also sell Hamburgers/cheeseburgers, French fries, and onion rings.The staff here is friendly. The owner is nice, and you will usually find him working alongside his crew.They have some cool old photographs blown up and displayed along the wall so you can look at them while you're waiting in line. The line can get long, but usually goes quickly.When ordering; Tell them how many dogs altogether in total, what you want on them, and whether it is for there or to go. That is the way the regulars do it and it makes the workers happy while keeping the line flowing. FYI, they are better when eaten there on the spot while they are hot.There are no more tables for inside dining (for now). Prices have gone up, but still cheaper than other places (some at least) to get hotdogs. They now have a Combo/special which consists of 2 dogs, an order of fries, and a large drink. A mini pile up of sauerkraut that nestled in with the Caliente (ny style onions) and brown mustard over that. crazy beef and pork combo dog, which was fully equipped with a snap on the skin for the win. This dog was tangy and zesty. The bark came with a bite that provided a full mouth chew that made your jaw put in work, only to satisfy your palette. Each bite more flavorful than the last and that fresh and soft bun brought this dog home to rest with its owner in the land of happiness. Up next, let us discuss their BBQ Mac N Cheese Dog!! Soft macaroni shells, though not as cheesy as some Mac n cheese dogs I had over the years but the flavor on that cheese was nice. Almost reminded me of a Parmesan sauce, thickened to bring about a powerful explosion within my mouth but the kicker is in the BBQ Sauce itself!! Had some spices in it with a sweet tone and hickory flare. I was impressed here for again, all of it worked well with the hot dog itself and I kept tearing away at the very fabric of this BBQ Mac N Cheese Beast!!! What I was not ready for though? That Scooby Doo Dog aka BUFFALO BLUE!!!! Of course they know their seasonings here for the Buffalo Sauce will leave some heat in your mouth but do not worry because the warmed blue cheese spread will settle the heat and add so much in terms of creaminess and tang, that you will understand the heat. Those potato sticks provide saltiness and crispiness to a dog that will never let you down! Might just be not only their latest addition to their hot dogs but one of their best additions!! I was thoroughly impressed with each dog today!!!!“

Now I went in a few directions.... Now the fries were good....Nice light Sweet and Salty vibe, they. kept you going back for more but these onion rings were made for the Champion in you! Large and in charge, crispy with a nice snap on the onions. It the batter for me that wasn't greasy but inviting. The Tso-ly Loaded Waffle fries, hit a homer and sent the rest of my appetizers to home plate and we all started to cheer within my mouth. What better way to bring about a wild and savory bite than to have some Ginger Soy coming in tangy and Chipotle Mayo barking up the right tree in way of packing a nice creamy yet spicy punch in my mouth over the crisp on that fried broccoli - TALK TO ME BABY and love me the way you do!!! I just worked you all the way up to their POT ROAST SANDWICH!! Yikes!! The easiest way to break this one down is to say, scoop your pot roast from your bowl and then slap that tasty monstrosity between two fresh buns of soft haven fun and now take a BITE!! Tender Beef, Onions with the Gravy Dripping and as you chew, a single tear drops from your eye for you've just experienced something amazing. Your soul thanks you on this one. “Love this place and I recommend to anyone I can, so far I've had a few different of their hotdogs, the cheeseburgers and the fries and fried pickles and have not been disappointed by any of it any of the various times I went. Depending on how busy it is you might have to wait a bit but it's so worth it to have some delicious fresh food and for an amazing price. Plus I just love the atmosphere and service, their always having good times and laughs and I love it. They have this taco dog right now that might sound kinda weird but honestly it was phenomenal ♡♡“
