The restaurant was empty as we came at a weird time. Our waitress or possibly the manager could care less about us or our order. In the middle of our service, someone from the kitchen/bar started taking care of us. They forgot to bring us bread and the original waitress at one point blew off her staff members as we were trying to get her attention. Food was pretty good, but overpriced. Seems like they really don't care, maybe it's time for a change of ownership or management.

I want to give it a higher rating, but I find the food to be average. That being said, my wife likes it. Go

Excellent pasta and pizza. The staff was super nice as well. Owner made us a custom spicy pasta listening to our favorites. Wish I could go here every week from

It is right next to a favorite wine store [Putnam and Vine]. I popped in for lunch and was greeted by a less than friendly lady who might have been the owner's mother who'd been roped in as free labor. She seemed irritated that I didnt sit precisely where she pointed [the sun was dazzling] and made no attempt to make anyone feel welcome. The pasta, however, was quite good. It is a sign of the times that the prices for the pasta were around $30. This is the modest sort of place where one might have expected the pasta to be in the high teens. Will certainly give it another chance when back in the area.

Went to Doppio for the first time in a long time recently and was slightly let down. It's a small, bustling spot and a cozy atmosphere. My arrabiatta pasta was just decent and my friends carbonara was simply not good - the egg seemed overcooked and it was thick without being creamy. The Giuseppe pizza, ricotta starter and crispy artichoke were highlights - would definitely recommend! The service was fast, but it felt like we were being a bother to the staff when we would ask for things like another drink or an extra napkin - it made me feel like a second rate customer. My friend loves this place so I will try it again and hope for a better experience.

Fantastic pizza as well as the fig and ricotta with truffle honey, and the tiramisu was delicious. Doppio has a lively environment, but the service wasn't fantastic. A few dishes came cold due to what seemed to be a mixup of orders. Definitely worth another try though!

Have been to doppio quite a few times. It's a very teen friendly restaurant and offers and wide range of Italian food as well as gluten free pizza options. The service has great. I recommend going between 7-10 thats when it's more of a older atmosphere.

Cozy place serves comfort Italian foods. Calamari was very crispy and flavorful. Neapolitan pizza was very good. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Definitely would comeback and try other foods in the menu.

Very rude service whenever I go pick up food. Is it because I am Asian? Look like a Ubereats person? Either way, not acceptable.

Our dinner order came to the table and one of the entrees was incorrect. The waiter apologized but my wife ate her dinner while I watched. My dinner arrived after my wife was finished with her meal and she watched me eat.
