Lugano Salumeria & Wine Bar

This was a disappointing experience.
The bartender was good but overwhelmed as managers stood around and just watched. Food was ok, I ordered a glass of Chianti and received Sangiovese.
I sat next to a young girl obviously on her day off that worked there and without hesitation spoke terribly of the business to the bartender.
One and done.

I found the food was over priced for the quality. Service was very good. Restaurant was very noisy despite few customers due to very loud and obnoxious customers.

Wow where do I begin?
Pulling Into the parking lot you get big flavor vibes, have to pull in to understand.
3 course meal began with in house baked bread with what usually would be butter but it was... hummus? Delicious.
Small piece of eggplant parm to kick it off and wow, that little piece fired up the appetite.
Next was the perfect portion size of zitti with the lightest vodka sauce that made me fall in love with it again. This can't be real, as a pasta fanatic I was blown away.
Main dish I had steak strips that was cooked so perfect I forget what the sides were. The plate was white, easy to remember because I was sad and blown away at what I ate.
Finishing off with a cannoli I wanted to redo it all over again. Get ready for big flavor and delicious food. NA beers in stock (athletic) and fresh water at the ready. Cheers LugAnO'sssss

The food was good! We went Friday night, and it was not crowded. We got the hot oil pizza and Brussels sprouts for appetizers. They were great!!!! Got eggplant small plate and short rib buccitini. It was so good. It's a must try! The place has a parking lot. It small but not too small that it's uncomfortable. I95 is very close, so it's easy to get to.

Wow!!! This was one of my favorite restaurants in the country!!! Everyone that knows me, knows I’m a foodie. I used to rave about this place. I visited last week for lunch and what a disaster. Restaurant is under “new management” and the food is awful!!! I cannot believe someone would buy this gem just to mess with the menu and quality of food. One of the staff members told me that the staff was dropping like flies since they are losing all their regular customers. Please bring back the old owners. These new owners have destroyed the quality of the food there. What a shame

We reserved the events room for a family function. The wait staff were very attentive to everyone's needs and the drinks were flowing. Food was great and the event space was perfect for our size group. We were able to close the French doors for privacy and to keep our level of noise away from the rest of the restaurant's patrons. Highly recommended.

Don’t get me wrong the food is great here but the servers don’t understand a lick of English.I was given a drink I didn’t order (which was left on my bill at the end ) then the waiter brought us the wrong meatballs .. gave us turkey instead of the beef and insisted to me and my husband that I said turkey, then another server took our plates and utensils before receiving our second meatballs (the correct ones) we had to grab them off the table next to us.. then they were taken away again and not returned when our dinner got there so we had to wave over a person to get silverware again…I think if this place had better servers that you could actually speak to it would be much better but the lack of organization or communication is severely making me not want to ever come back ..

Last time I came to this restaurant my friend and I got food poisoning. When we called to let the manager know he vaguely blamed it on us and said it was an “us issue”. The first time I come back I place a take out order. I called and they said 30-35 minutes. The staff was not helpful simply saying 10 more minutes, only a few items left, etc. I waited an hour and 25 minutes for my order. I will not be coming back.
