Great pastries and awesome bread. Family run. Off the Ave but a known secret at this point.

Raphaël's is far and away the best bakery I've ever been to. To begin with, the quality of the food is absolutely top notch across the board. I never had anything less than delicious from there and they offer a wide variety of options. From traditional French baked goods to chocolate matzo toffee bars to chocolate cookie croissants, there's always something for everyone. The ingredients are also high quality and they don't pack in any junk or preservatives (unlike grocery store bought bread which has an unnaturally long shelf life). I also love how easy is it to get here. They're right off Greenwich Ave and the area is quiet and serene. Well, quiet- ish. Since the day they opened their doors, Raphaël's often has a line out the door. Which is amazing because they opened their doors during Covid in middle of the winter - when most businesses were failing and closing. That should tell you something right there. Still, they're very efficient with checking out patrons and the line moves pretty fast so don't let that scare you away. It's absolutely worth the few minute wait if theres a line. I think Raphaël's continues to be so popular not just because they have great baked goods and a lovely location but they're also the nicest people I've ever met. The bakery is run by a wonderful French family that makes every visit here such a pleasure. If you want to support a local business while enjoying the best croissant you'll ever eat, you need to stop by Raphaël's. You will not regret it.

Very kind authentic French bakery! Sandwich was tasty and the owners were very kind
I frequent Greenwich for work, I always stop here when I'm in town. The coffee is always excellent, the baked goods brighten my day, the music and environment provide the perfect background to get some work done. The staff also know everyone's name in town, a staple of the community. It's rare to find a place that nails everything a coffee shop needs, but they do. Will be coming back every chance I get.

Beautiful family owned bakery. Everybody is very friendly & helpful. Prosciutto & mozzarella sandwich was very fresh. Cookie croissant was to die for. Coffee comes with a delicious little homemade pastry. I love supporting local businesses that care a lot about their customers. Will definitely be returning soon.
This place is incredible. I got a sandwich and sourdough.

Superb French Bakery! All items are made with the freshest ingredients and made throughout the day. Located within close vicinity to Greenwich Avenue. Parking is easy to find on the municipal parking facility located just steps from this bakery. Very friendly team members. They gave us mini Chouquettes to try. It was delish! Highly recommend this place. Their sourdough and baquettes are must try as well. As well as their carrot cake bar. A unique french twist on a carrot cake!Parking: Municipality parking is located not far from this bakery.
