Best lobster roll and chowder in New England! Accommodated 12 of us at the last minute, very attentive and friendly manager and servers. Food and local tap beers were amazing!! Highly recommend! #beersummer2025 ❤️

Probably the best seafood chowder I've had in decades, it was Cajun flavored but not super spicey. Full of seafood and so flavorful. The other items on the menu look fantastic as well, with very fair prices. The service is outstanding, super friendly and professional. Located directly on the historic street with all the lovely boutiques. I highly recommend this establishment!

Visiting family and decided to dine at The Mariner. Fantastic food, great service, and live music, Oktoberfest Oct 20th! Made a valuable memory.

Clean, friendly, and nautical.
The food is fantastic! The new England clam chowder is superb, cocktails are delicious, and they had specials. Jon was our waiter, excellent service.

Family restaurant vibes at an upscale price.
A tasty but small fish dip appetizer and some risotto with dry scallops did not fully satisfy. Nothing worth sending back or making a fuss about, but also nothing worth lofty praise compared to some of the other stops in Mystic. My fresh lobster was tasty, but could have had more seafood alongside it as advertised. The scallop risotto was creamy but was less astounding with the price tag. Staff was friendly and helpful but they could not save the outcome of our orders.

Service was friendly, efficient, and on point. Excellent smoked blue fish appetizer, absolutely delicious! Lobster roll itself was good, lobster cooked well, but the fries were soggy and overdone. Calamari my dinner partner got were overdone and rubbery, but the breading was tasty. Overall the ambiance was ok, but nothing special. The music playing in the background was modern, and didn't promote conversation. I'd come here again for the smoked blue fish dip, but skip dinner.
