The Mariner is a very beautiful restaurant. We went for an early dinner around 430 and the restaurant wasn't too busy. It was quiet and beautifully appointed. There is bar seating as well as a dining room, we really liked out seat by the window overlooking W Main Street. The menu had a wide variety of options so anyone could find something they liked. Wonderful stop right in the heart of Mystic. During the winter, some seating right by windows into the bustling small town streets. The New England clam chowder is to die for and the spaghetti fra diavolo was a delight. A solid restaurant in Mystic. Their clam soup is the best I’ve had! Lots of good flavors! The beet salad was delicious and they kindly split it for us. The seafood pasta was good but a little heavy. I wasn’t expecting it to have a cream base. It did have lots of seafood in it
