Captain Daniel Packer Inne Reviews
Was very disappointed when we took friends of ours there and told them how good the bread was but when we ordered from Jack was told the bread now costs and yet we were there two weeks ago and bread was offered. Also we had to ask Jack what the specials were and he acted put out. What a change from two weeks ago with waiter Greg who was awesome
The bar is the best, but please, please, don't stop serving Blue Point Toasted Lager.
Excellent atmosphere, service, libations and fare! Where else can you go to a Colonial Tavern-Restaurant that was built before the American Revolutionary War.
I have been coming for years and have found that it’s gotten better if anything!
Fireplace in the bar is great.
It’s my favorite in Mystic CT.

Captain Daniel Packer Inne is a charming and unassuming restaurant located off the beaten path in downtown Mystic. The tavern area offers live entertainment and a cozy atmosphere, making it a lovely spot for guests to enjoy their time. The upstairs dining room is appointed in a historic style, inviting diners to settle in. The service is exceptional, with friendly staff members who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. The menu features delicious options, including supremely cooked Filet mignons, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and highly recommended dishes like Clam chowder and Lobster roll. Guests have noted the Cod sandwich as very good and appreciated the wild-caught seafood, which is a rarity nowadays. The ambiance feels like an old European seaside village, providing an extremely cozy timber space. With its unique charm, excellent food, and outstanding service, Captain Daniel Packer Inne is a must-visit for anyone traveling to Mystic, especially during happy hour when prices are half off. The restaurant is beautifully decorated for seasonal events, enhancing its welcoming charm.
