Arrived in town and craving a good chowder. While here we also ordered the crab cakes and grilled swordfish. Done to perfection with excellent seasoning. Heirloom tomato and watermelon salad was a great starter. This hotel restaurant did not disappoint.
I frequently visit the Helmsman Kitchen & Bar and I have always enjoyed there food, and atmosphere. Yuleika our Bartender was amazing as usual , her energy is always very upbeat and on point and the service is impeccable . Definitely a must visit when you’re in the Mystic / Groton area .
The staff were wonderful, the food was delicious. We skipped Mohegan for this gem and my wife was as delighted as I was. We loved the different seating options, we played cards and had cocktails then moved up to a table for dinner. Thank you for the Cake! We ate it in our room. See you in the fall...
