Koto Japanese Steak House and Sushi Bar

Let me start off by saying that Ive been in the restaurant industry for over 20 years! This place was by far the worst Hibachi Steak house we've ever been to! The entire staff was rude, impatient and rushed us the entire time! The worst and most boring hibachi show I've ever seen by a hibachi chef! He seemed annoyed and ready to leave and go home the entire time he was cooking. The waitress rushed us as she was taking the orders. When the Salads and soups came out she tossed the bowls in front of us because she was rushing! I asked to speak to a manager/supervisor after. As I was speaking to him I was still eating my Filet Mignon entree mind you. Towards the end of the convo he tried taking my plate away to bus/clean off the table even though I was literally still eating it! I looked at him and said how are you really trying to take my food without even asking if I was done especially after hearing us tell you we felt rushed the entire experience! Do yourself a favor and choose another place to eat! Even if the service was good/ decent the portions and quality was absolutely terrible for what they charge!

We got 3 kind of rolls, the teriyaki chicken and pad thia. The pad thia had no flavor or spice and very bland, I have had way better. The teriyaki chicken, didnt taste like teriyaki at all, had a horrible taste and very brothy. The California roll was great, thats hard to mess up. We will not be going back here.

Worst vegetable hibachi ever. SMALL portions. They didn’t even make extra veggies, just gave me the same portion as everyone else getting meat. My plate was incredibly small and BLAND. The food wasn’t even flavorful. The chef was rude and ignored me since I was at the end of the table. Skipping over me while giving out extras, and ignoring me when it came to sake. The drinks took forever to refill, at least 20 mins. And because I was with a party, my individual check had an automatic tip. Normally I wouldn’t care, but for service like this? A vegetable hibachi should not be 2/3 empty plate.

Unfortunately my first complaint would be that they DO NOT have yum yum sauce. I’ve never been to a hibachi restaurant that didn’t have yum yum sauce.🤷‍♀ They did have 2 other dipping sauces that were not good. Second complaint would be our chef was really really quiet.. it was kind of awkward and as soon as he was done cooking the waitress came around with to go boxes. We felt like we were being rushed out as we were still eating! And lastly the portion was super small for 30.00. We also ordered a couple shrimp tempura rolls that were delicious but fell apart as we were trying to eat it. Sorry for the not so great review.. just being honest 🫤

Went here for lunch for the first-time and with even better than going at night time. Much less crowded, less expensive and more interaction with the cook. Always a great time

Normally we love dining in, but last night my husband and I ordered hibachi meals to go, and I'm pretty appalled. One weird piece of tofu and all noodles with no veggies, soup, or salad? How is this a hibachi meal? Honestly I feel we deserve a refund or credit.

Poorly lit. Poorly cleaned and maintained. Hanging lamps above each table have large clumps of dust hanging off of them and clung to the chains. Paint peeling off walls. Mismatched wall repairs crumbling at base. Food quality was cheap and previously frozen. No flavor, inedible, chewy. Host had no personality and was just lounging about in the front. I would avoid dining here.

Absolutely the best hibachi experience we have had in a long time. Our server Christy was totally on point. She was fast. Efficient. And friendly. Hard to come by nowadays. The food was excellent. Zero complaints.

Please don’t come to this place, the place is so dirty and has a smell, the floors are so sticky, the doors are so dirty, the table where you eat are so sticky, if you go to the bathroom it smells like a cigar room. Don’t waste your time coming here. Not clean

We did the hibachi table for my bachelorette party, it was a fun time. The food was tasty, the hibachi chef was entertaining to watch. Overall it was a solid experience.
