Lorenzo's II in Guilford is a family‑owned spot that serves great pizza, delicious meatballs, and amazing tiramisu. The large Pepperoni Pizza has a great crust, some nice crisp, and a tasty sauce, though the pizza can be larger than the box and a few slices bend. The side of meatballs is moist, tender, and excellent with great flavor. Gluten‑free pizza is the best, with mozzarella cooked to perfection, and a vegetarian pizza with soup is also excellent. Fresh bread and hummus, served with toasted Italian bread, taste like homemade. The dine‑in atmosphere is cozy, friendly, and clean, and the service is timely with a smile. Customers feel like they are at home with family. The menu offers generous portions, spinach, mushroom and onion pizza, and great specials. The restaurant is open 11‑9 for lunch and dinner, closed Mondays, and is worth a drive for the outstanding food.
