“Pasta Avest has delicious food, the staff are friendly and make you feel like you’re family, and the environment inside is clean, cozy, and relaxing! I think not being able to decide what you want to eat because everything is delicious is a wonderful problem to have!Favorite item is the sausage and peppers sub. They even have specials and recently the chicken cutlet with mozz, cherry peppers, and hot honey was a genuine knock out of the park. These guys are a hidden gem that shouldnt be hidden. Prices are prices, everyone has to make a living but I’ll be the first to tell you they’re absolutely worth it!“
“Leaving this review as I’m eating my to-go eggplant rollatini at home. I ate here often since I’m CT local and vegan, everything I’ve tried so far has been so dang delicious. My favorite is the tiramisu. The service is great too. They have indoor and outdoor sitting areas now although not much seating.“
“The best pizza ever! The owners are so friendly, and make the most authentic Italian pizza in New Haven County, which is a big claim in the area I know. But Matt and Melissa picked up their culinary skills in Naples and brought them back to the Shoreline, and we. are. so. lucky. Just make sure you order early, because they get absolutely flooded with orders (a good sign!)“
“Delicious every time! Definitely try the penne vodka or sausage and peppers. We order trays upon trays for our events like birthdays, holidays, etc. The food is always phenomenal, always on time, and the employees are nice enough to help bring them out to the car.“
“A friend chose this location for her birthday dinner. Nice, varied menu. Everything the 4 of us ordered was very good. My spaghetti d'angelo was a generous portion that was not only aesthetically pleasing, but tasty as well. If you are in the area, give it a try.“
“Went there on a Monday Night. Had an amazing window table was great to look out over the green. Al our server was amazing attentive but not overbearing . Had zuppa de pease was amazing seafood was so fresh and tender. Started with the stuff figs (a must try) also had pork chop Sicilian pork chop was Hugh and cooked to perfection. And was a great plus to have 1/2 off bottle of wines. Finished our meal with the exotic Bamba , expresso and sambucca what an amazing finish. This has become our to go to place since moving to the area recent .“
“Came in and placed an order for a pizza to-go on a cold snowy night, one of the employees told me I could wait in my car and they would bring it out! And the pizza that I later had was amazing, very good cheese and nice thin crust!Would definitely recommend!“
“I have been to Quattro’s several times and the most recent being about a week ago and I can’t stop thinking about the stuffed eggplant! It was layered with a blend of silky, delicious cheese and covered with a pomodoro tomato sauce that my Italian gramma would have approved!Vegetarian options: Salads are Fresh with in house made dressings that are delicious, my favorite had Arugula with artichoke in a lemon dressing and topped with parmesan. YUM!“

“I found this place purely by accident but I'm really glad after passing it I turned around and went in. A real feast for the eyes, loads of choices. I bought a box of cookies, a bit pricey and unfortunately I myself never got to try them. What I did have was the Panini Meatball, it was fantastic. The gentleman that waited on me, possibly the owner, was very friendly. As I told him, I will definitely be back for more, and maybe even get to try those cookies!“
“I go here almost every Sunday and no matter what time it is the staff is always happy to serve you. They are so kind and always want to start a conversation even after two or three times go in they recognize you. and the food is absolutely to die for.“
“As close to New Haven quality pizza that you will get around here! My dad use to own this restaurant and he made the best pizza…..I have to say the quality is just the same as when he owned it and they use all the best ingredients! I love Amatos and will be only getting my pizza from them from now on. The sausage topping specifically is my favorite, I haven’t asked but I can tell they use longhini which is the best ! :)“
“Nestled away from North Main Street is this hidden gem of Italian food. Their marinara sauce is delicious and their portions are just right. It can be a little noisy but it's a good dinner spot for the area ( even if it may take a minute to find parking don't let that deter you.)Parking: Not a lot of parking but worth the effort.“
“I have been to this restaurant twice since it has opened and can’t recommend it enough. The quality of food is something to talk about. Recently went to celebrate seeing an old friend after quite some time and could not have had a better experience. From start to finish we felt special and taken care of. Don’t hesitate to go to this restaurant - you will not be disappointed“
“Meal was delicious. I had short ribs, friends had branzinno and veal picata and split a salad with. Pears. My husband had bolonese which was just ok and a yummy bisque. Prices were fair. The waitress was very brusque. Whenn we asked for more bread, we had to remind her. My friends asked that the salad be split in the kitchen, it wasn't. They asked for a plate and she responded, can't you use your bread plate? We had to ask the bus boy for plates. Really. Why do a job you don't like doing? Aside from the waitress, a delicious meal. Oh,we ended with lemon sorbet..lemony but a little chunky.“
“Best fresh bread ever but there pizza sucks but when you're out in the the stick's you eat anything and pay higher prices incredibly high prices . maybe 5.00 for bread is ok but don't get the pizza go buy some frozen pizza first.they had ready to bake frozen pizza maby it's stale but I make my dough and pizza from scratch and it tastes better. I'm not sure if a fresh from the oven pizza from them is actually better.maby I can teach him something or I can learn something else“
