I've been a loyal customer to China Chef and I've always enjoyed their food and service. My last visit to this eatery made me never want to go back again. When it comes to customer service and health, the staff members at China Chef could care less about the people that support their business. Last time I ordered food at this restaurant, I stood there and waited for it and I noticed how ill mannered it was prepared. A male staff member dropped multiple pieces of food from my container on a counter, picked it up with his hands and slapped it back into my container to serve me. I do not know where his hands have been or what has been dropped on the counter where my food was also dropped. Not to mention, the attitude of the women cashier was very rude before this food preparation occurred. I paid for the food but kindly asked if they would prepare another one for me because of the gross way my food was handled and they denied. I was not asking for a refund nor for more food, I just wanted my food to be prepared in a cleaner manner and they did not do as such. My experience was so heinous, I did not get my money back and I did not get the food. I will not be returning there again. I will also spread the word of how the China chef staff handles the food and treats their customers.

I ordered from here a few times. The food is typical mid-level takeout but close in location. This last time I called to order and was directed to order online. I ordered online and my order was immediately cancelled with a message that my money will be returned in 5-10 business days. I called to find out the issue and was told that my address on file was flagged for "charge-backs" and they won't deliver to me. I only use a debit card. If I didn't have the funds immediately available, it would decline. I do not own a credit card. There was never any chargebacks. Idk it's not good enough food to be treated weirdly so I would say to avoid.

I order orange chicken. The chicken was very hard, you could tell that they already had made it and just heated it in the microwave. Took a very long time for my order people before me got their order before I received mine. Definitely won’t be going there again and it was my first time trying it. The restaurant looks dingy and dirty.

Ordered chicken fried rice and chicken wings, the rice was recycled from last night it was hard and had a burnt taste‼️? Shame on me I thought the lunch would be fresh…?

The food was really good but we ordered a second time on a Friday night upset my wontons all burnt inedible the rest of our food was bland and not the same- so $65 later very disappointed we are upset.

First time ordering at this restaurant in person ever, and for any food, ever. After reading some of the menu, they took my order and my money. Two dishes, $22.70. Pork with snow peas and pork with vegetables. Paid cash. No receipt.They said, ten minutes. I said, be back in 20 minutes. Came back and was given bag. I asked twice if two pork orders were in bag. Did not want to return home to find I had someone else's order or an error in mine.At home opened bag which was heavy. To summarize two dishes: vegetable/pork had 99.5% of some white slivered vegetable, perhaps onion with no flavor. Flavor non-descript. Slivers of pork, .5%. Lots of watery fluid in container. Other dish, pork and snow pea. Poor taste. Had a few mouthfuls of each. Did not eat the rest and may drop the food in the containers, unopened rice, etc. at the doorstep tomorrow. Lousy taste in mouth. First and last visit. I thought since they have been around, or at least the physical facility, a long time they were great. NO.I find it interesting that almost without exception the 5 star reviews are by the Local Guides and everyone else who has low and lowest ratings are NOT local guides. Are the guides getting free food in turn a good rating?? Hope not.

I ordered the luncheon special pepper steak & onions. The green peppers were rotten. The prices have gone up, the food quality has gone down. I should have known better when I saw that "C" from the health department on the window. I'm done!!!
