Stopped by while driving home to NYC for a quick bite. Service was efficient, staff friendly, pizzas delicious. We had a traditional pepperoni and their lasagna pizza. The sausage on the lasagna pie was nicely seasoned.
Stuffed bread!! Never had it until I went to Eli’s and went with the chicken parm. Unreal marinara sauce…almost drinkable. The bread was rich and cheesy and perfect. Part sandwich/part calzone delish. I’ll be back

I was hired as General Manager of this establishment. I quickly realized that taking the position was a mistake. Best part of my experience was working a 1/4 mile away from Glenwood to grab dinner on my way home...
Every time I order pizza from Eli’s I always specify, “not burnt” and every single time I pick it up, it’s black. If I’m going to pay $30 for a large pizza, I want what I ordered. I can see if it was a Friday night and Eli’s was busy, it was 12:30 pm on a Monday.
The prices were astronomical, definitely not thin crust. For $48, I expected a real New York-style thin-crust pizza with hot oil, but what I got was a disappointment.

What happened to this place? The genius on the phone couldn’t figure out a solution to do a jb special half plain. Also I asked for no meatball but indeed it had meatball. To top it off, the pizza they gave me was doughy and undercooked in the middle. Can’t even eat it! Lots of toppings, all undercooked. Nearly $40 for that and 2 sodas- yeah no thanks.

One of the worst pizzas I've had. They use a spice or herb that ruins the taste of whatever toppings is selected.
