I specifically ordered pizza light baked cause I’ve lived in in New Haven all my life and my grandchildren don’t eat it when it’s charred, and you wouldn’t believe how burnt it is. I tried calling twenty times in a row and still haven’t gotten anywhere, I’m throwing it in the trash right now and going to the kids something else to eat. Because the customer(especially dark skinned ones) don’t mean a damn thing. Prejudiceness is well and alive in Hamden

Delicious thin crust pizza. This is how thin crust pizza should be made. We ordered 2 slices of cheese, 1 eggplant
Parmesan & 1 Angry Chicken. All 3 were delicious. Very friendly staff, fast service, very clean dining room, plenty of seating.

The pizza was nice...the cheese seems to be really high quality. We also had a Caesar salad, which was a great start. It is very noisy with kids playing table hockey, etc. Don't go here if you expect to have a quality conversation. Just go for the pizza and vibes.

We came here because we used to live here 12 years ago. We ordered and it took 40 minutes just to get 2 small pizzas and wings. There were only 3 parties left in the rester aunt by the time they gave us our food. Another kind family gave us some of their pizza because their order was messed up so they had an extra pizza. I ordered a pizza with olives and mushroom. I got onions and mushrooms. They also are out of all drinks except root beer. The service was really bad but the food was incredible

Pizzas weren't cooked well out of seven pizzas only 2 were ok the others flopped over and the dough wasn' cooked enough. Vegetable pizza had cool peppers placed on top afterwards, you could taste they weren't cooked at all. Two large salads had mushy tomatoes mixed in they should have been thrown out. Was so noisy with kids yelling at arcade games.

You can't say you know New Haven pizza without trying Eli's. It rivals Frank Pepe's in flavor, texture, and consistently high quality pizza while having none of the line or wait time for a great meal. They also have generous slices to-go of various specialty pies. We are massive fans of the standard cheese though, which they cook to perfection every time. The manager Matt, in particular, does an excellent job, and remembers your name and what you particularly like even during the Wednesday buy-one-pizza-get-one-free rush. He is friendly and professional and, in the one time there was a bit of inconsistency with sauce, noted our feedback and followed up when we next went in, even though we ourselves had since forgotten about it. The atmosphere is always laid back and family friendly, and the staff are respectful. The only real issue to note is parking --- there are less than ten spots in the back, which can get a bit congested at certain times, but that is, in my estimation, a trivial concern when you consider how great their pizza is, every time. Strong contender for the best pizza in New Haven.

Super casual with delicious food and treats. Games to play. Local beers to choose from and a take away dinner option. We had pizzas and pastas. For dessert we tried their home made cookies and cheesecake.

My small white fresh tomato eggplant pizza was the worse pizza I've ever had. The eggplant looked and tasted like pieces of brown paper bags! There was hardly any cheese on it and even with sliced tomatoes on it, it was dry. This pizza was $17 and was not eatable!! Lesson learned!!

Their pizza has really gone downhill in the past year or so. Just not near the same quality and taste as it used to be. I tried Olde World brick oven pizza down the street and it was soooo much better.
