Best ice cream I have had in a long time. Very rich and creamy. Also the one scoop is what two scoops of ice cream are at other places. The milkshake is $5.75 which is a price for milkshake I have not seen in a long time! All to say the prices are very fair for how popular this place is. I did not take pictures but there is a make and swing sets and places just to sit around both inside and outside, so a great place to just hang out with friends and family.

Ice cream only and it's homemade. They have a great variety of flavors you won't find in stores and reasonable prices- a lot less than where I live in CA. It's a friendly and I think family owned place

I consider Wentworth's the best in the state. Some others come close to them but not quite. I'm still searching for an equivalent.
Prices are a bit high. I can see why some families can't afford to go there.

Such a great place! The actual building is super beautiful and cozy. Stopped by right at opening and were greeted by friendly and incredibly helpful staff. They offer a variety of homemade and delicious flavors; we picked the three Oreo flavors (choc caramel, choc brownie, and original). They were all exceptionally creamy and sweet. We’re sure to go back again! Check it out if you’re nearby.

This place is not ADA accessible. My son, who uses a wheelchair, was excited for ice cream on a humid day. When we got to Wentworth’s- we discovered a long high set of stairs up to the restaurant. I went inside to ask where the accessible entrance was (usually they’re in the back if there’s no ramp in the front). The person sheepishly told me that there was none. I immediately turned around and left- bringing my son instead to Ashley’s ice cream in the Hamden Plaza where they have an accessible entrance and my son can view and pick the flavors for himself. Do better Wentworth’s.

Really exceptional ice cream and I've sampled a lot in Ct. Good size portions at a good price. Super creamy and dense. Really distinct strong flavors which is unique. So many places have good textured ice cream-but it tastes like nothing. Highly recommend!

Great ice cream, very rich and amazing texture. I got the banana fudge with nuts and strawberries. Service could be better tho idk why the young lady was yelling across the counter like we weren’t in front of her, other than that would come again!
