came here a couple months ago food was amazing, music was great, service was quick so I decided to go back yesterday and I was so disappointed we waited over an hour for our food just for it to come out bit by bit not all together, the cornbread was sooo dry and not edible waste of money, the fried chick was 2 seconds away from being completely burned you could slightly smell and taste the burn. The mac and cheese had 0 flavor and the collard greens were so vinegary. Even the...

First I want to say that I live in RI, so I have a decent drive to Hartford, but Black Eyed Sally's is no joke, the food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is peaceful and amazing.
I haven't been there for their live entertainment yet, but I'm going soon for sure.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys some good barbecue, some good Ole soulfood, and some of the best appetizers I've ever eaten, and let's not forget...
