First time. Food is a buffet help yourself. You are charged by the weight of your plate. My coworkers said they are going so I said why not. I got oxtails that were huge, buffalo wings were seasoned and flavorful, fried fish big piece, and steak you can tell them how you like it. The meat cutter good customer service. The cashier was friendly. My total was $35 and cashew fruit drink (I thought cashew was a nut) made my total $40. Cuz I got what I wanted myself haha. I was warned about price buttt I'm satisfied will go again and tell other. Everything was busssdown. Ambiance dope vibe. Happy customer

This WAS one of my favorite places to eat, hands down !! The food is very good…… However the last 2 times I went I was charged $90 and $ 100 for 3 containers of take out. While Very small portions of meat were added, the majority of what I paid for was rice and pasta and salad To me this is a huge problem. No pricing is on display and no menu so that tells me they make up the pricing as they go. There is only so long this type of will continue before sadly slipping away. Imo

Personally I'm not big on eating meat, but if you are, Brazil Grill might be the place for you. They have everything, from pork, to beef, stake, lamb, sausages to chicken. Brazil Grill is located on Park Street in Hartford. They have a very small parking for around five cars in front of the restaurant. When you walk inside, this where one of the friendly servers will greet you and ask is this your first time in their establishment. This is where you can make a request for the type of meat you would like. They are going to take it off the grill on skewers and cut as much for you as you would like. To the left you will find a very small buffet of some salads and sides. I got the Yuca soup. I don't think I've had this before. This soup is yellow like the cheddar and broccoli soup. Except it might be healthier, it isn't heavy or particularly salty, I could taste the ginger and there was shrimp in it. It is pretty hearty for a cold day. I wasn't really interested in anything else at Brazil Grill. They had some really delicious looking desserts right across from where I was sitting. I got the flan. This was incredible! It was sweet, syrupy, soft and springy! I very rarely have flan, this might be the reason I'd come back to Brazil Grill. They charge everything by weight. The total bill for my self and two others, who ate a lot of meat was $25. This is a great value. I just wish their buffet was a bit bigger with more variety.

Though these types of Brazilian restaurants tend to all be pretty similar but this is the only one I've been to the sells brigadeiro and doce de leite ninho so it's my favorite. Used to get $30 worth of them after every doctors appointment when I was pregnant.

I really hate to leave a bad review because the food was really is good and I used to go all the time when I was younger. But they're prices are super over what they need to be. They have no prices listed anywhere. I got 2 small containers of food and I went to pay and get them weighed and somehow came out to 63$ I was shocked that it had come out so high, I should've asked what theyre pricing is. If you decide to go, make sure to ask as Ive been told by others its changes depending on the day.

Good price, nice food. Travel here during a rainy Independence Day. So satisfied about the food! Basically you choose meat and side dishes, and they charge via total food weight. We two eat ~55USD. So much meat you can choose! People here are so friendly. The restaurant is clean and easy to find. You can park in front of the building. Since it's in a flood warning day, the manager allowed us to stay at the restaurant until it rained less. I would highly recommend it to my friends.

Extremely overpriced! My husband and I stopped here for takeout. We both got a large container. we ended up paying $115. Didn’t even get anything to drink. My husband looked at the guy in shock and we were then told it was $23 per pound. We have visited this place previously over the last 2 years and paid $50-$60 for the same amount of food and drink for takeout. I understand there is inflation but this is pure robbery!!! A previous review mentioned charging more to those are not Brazilian and I would have to agree with that statement. I have been to other Brazilian takeout spots that don’t charge more that $15 per pound. They also charged me a surcharge for using my debit/credit card. I noticed this on my credit card receipt when I got home. Can I report this restaurant to someone for overcharging?

The genuine article. I regret only that I didn't get to try their desserts. We found this place accidentally as part of a random GPS tour, and I'm glad we happened upon it. At least when we visited, they were open as a buffet, so we got to try a little of everything that looked good. Everything was good. I've only visited Brasil for long enough to buy a t-shirt, so I can't claim to be an expert, but it sounds and tastes to me like they know their stuff. We got there at a slow time between lunch and dinner, so we may have gotten more staff attention than most, but it was the good kind of attention, friendly and helpful. English is not their first language, which I consider a good thing. Be patient, speak clearly, and you'll get there.Parking: Plenty of parking in front of the building with another public lot across the street, but crossing the street there is challenging.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is on the ground level.

If I can give it 0 stars I would. It was very overly priced. They scaled my food and somehow it came up to $19 and I didn’t even get a drink. There is a form of discrimination on those who are not Brazilian. They will scale your food and give you a “foreigner” price. I came here with my friend, who was Brazilian, and she paid only $16 and she had a drink with the same amount of food as me. There were also not a lot of food options for the buffet. Food was very salty. Never again.
