Food great Top five in Hartford, so you gotta have patience with them because they take their sweet time and you can go somewhere else but if you want that good food you will wait cuz Destiny awaits , but dang pls do better with costumer service, please no beef we all must be nice , it don't cost a dime to be kind , and business is all about flow and production keep the things rolling smoothly,
I went last night around 9:30pm thinking they were going to tell me they were out of many items but not only did they have EVERYTHING, they also moved quick! I complimented the one girl working the register because she was doing the damn thing! even recalled my order perfectly despite servicing many people at once. Great service, food came out quick & was delicious. That girl who works behind the counter Sunday evening needs a raise!
Unassuming takeout only West Indian Restaurant. I have been a few times and the food is always excellent! I love the Jerk Chicken, peas and rice with Oxtail Gravy and Stewed Cabbage. Just the right amount of heat and the smoky flavor of the chicken is perfect! The cabbage is sweeter than I am used to, but I enjoyed it. It helped cut the heat. Parking can be difficult when it's busy, but so worth it!!!
