Visited yesterday for menudo. We also ordered a side of guacamole and a couple of beers (Victoria). The menudo was excellent. Although not common, I enjoy my menudo with hominy but that wasn't available. Other than that, service and the food were top notch. Will be returning!
After just one visit here, I can see why El Sarape is so well-loved in the Hartford community. Enrique and his staff brought out some truly authentic Mexican food and drinks that really impressed us. The birria tacos were definitely some of the best I've had, and they introduced us to a cantarito for the first time! I appreciated the time they took in the presentation of their dishes as well. Food tasted amazing!!! My husband and I randomly picked a place to eat and best decision ever!!! Would deff come back. Price was great as well. Quiet peaceful environment. Respectful owners and employees. I love it!!! Great fresh tasting food!!!!
