Very beautiful cozy Italian restaurant. Menu is large enough for the level of quality. Service is top notch (3 visits) and never an empty glass on the table. Plenty of parking off street. Some of the best veal I've ever had. Price tags can lead to sticker shock. But if you're out for a quiet higher end evening you certainly get more than you pay for.
Went on a Saturday night and there were only a handful of other people and tables eating. My veal parma was okay. My wife's puttanesca was very good. The service was slow especially since it wasn't crowded. Bread was tasty and warm once we asked for it. Quite frankly my wife and I agree that The Venetian in Torrington is the best Italian anywhere and we've been to a lot of places. We went to Francesco's because I didn't want to take the drive to Torrington and back on Labor Day...read full review
