Often vist the L Bar when staying at the Marriott each year for the Hartford Marathon. Apps and food are very good, service is quick and attentive. Drinks are made well. Comfortable seating.

My husband and I came Saturday..Evan and James was awesome...It was our 11th Anniversary we enjoyed. Came back Tuesday evening another bartender was there around 7 or so..NEVER ACKNOWLEDGED US. we left

It's really unfortunate I won't be returning. The food was actually very good, but the service tonight was beyond poor. I waited over a half an hour for my food which was a Caesar salad and short rib sandwich. I'm not sure how long it was sitting in the kitchen but everything was brought out at once. I didn't feel attended to at all. I was always waiting for a refill on my drink and I also witnessed the bartender berate 2 customers next to me for requesting service from the barback because she was unable to attend to them in a timely manner.

Because poor service ruins everything. Waiting 20 minutes to receive first a new cup without ice and ultimately a refund. Refund handled by two managers who didn't need anything from me, just to use a different computer internally. Cassidy could have simply stated the refund on an over charged lemonade drink 6 oz cup full of ice, was completed.A simply asked for a drink without ice. Continued to wait for the hostesses Cassidy to pour a new drink after waiting on at least five consumers, even one that she waited for to taste a drink. 20 minutes later Extremely rude hostesses, no thank you. And I've frequently have lunch and breakfast at this hotel. Never an encounter of this nature. Hopefully the next experience and customs service is better, because today was absolutely DISGUSTING ?
