Often vist the L Bar when staying at the Marriott each year for the Hartford Marathon. Apps and food are very good, service is quick and attentive. Drinks are made well. Comfortable seating.

It's really unfortunate I won't be returning. The food was actually very good, but the service tonight was beyond poor. I waited over a half an hour for my food which was a Caesar salad and short rib sandwich. I'm not sure how long it was sitting in the kitchen but everything was brought out at once. I didn't feel attended to at all. I was always waiting for a refill on my drink and I also witnessed the bartender berate 2 customers next to me for requesting...

Mix feelings about this places. The bartender was average. The drink prices are normal for a hotel bar. We ordered a salad with the chicken and clam Chaidez. The soup was delicious but the chicken was not tasty at all. Hard to even cut with knife. The manager was nice and aware and without us even saying anything, came to see how is the food (the server never checked on us, busy at the bar). I was not planning to ask for another one but he insisted. They brought another grilled...
