Disgusting Experience – Do Not Recommend
While eating, I saw a roach crawl out near me where I was eating and more of them kept coming out, both big and small. It was absolutely disgusting. I told the manager, and they admitted they already knew about the issue but haven’t fixed it. That’s unacceptable. This place is dirty and unsafe. Stay away! In the picture, you see one roach, but after that more of them kept coming out and I left. This is very disgusting. DONT COME HERE!

I really like the food at this place but the staff is nothing serious. I ordered an order of fried chicken and only the rice, salad and plantains arrived. The chicken was not there and when I called they told me there was nothing they could do and that it was a mistake!!! and then they said that next time they would give me extra chicken or a dessert and today I bought the order again and I was waiting for the extra chicken. When I called they told me that they were going to send me the extra chicken that had not been delivered to me before! and what do you think? I also didn't get any extra chicken or dessert. I write this because the truth is I feel very indignant about this situation. One is supposed to ask for a service and expect it to be done well! The worst thing of all is when you call and ask them what happened with the order, they make up excuses like: the girl who made the mistake is not there and the boy can't do anything!!! I only ask those at the restaurant to be a little more serious. It is not fair for us who ask for and PAY for good service and that things are not delivered to us as they are! It really bothers me because this is not the first time this has happened to me at this restaurant!!!!

Today I went to the restaurant La Casita del Sabor II on Park Street, Hartford. There were five of us, and we all ordered different dishes. The waitress wasn’t too bad; she only checked on us once, but the worst part was at the end. Before leaving and paying, I ordered a soup to go for my son, which cost $20.
We paid the bill and left. I placed the soup on the front seat to keep an eye on it while driving. However, when I got home, I realized all the broth from the soup had spilled into the bag and not stayed in the container. This clearly happened because the container wasn’t properly closed.
I called the restaurant to inform them of what happened, expecting an apology or at least some empathy, but that wasn’t the case. The person I spoke to was extremely rude. They told me it wasn’t their fault and there was nothing they could do. They offered to replace the soup if I brought it back to the restaurant, but I explained that I live in Glastonbury, 30 minutes away. I even offered to send pictures or videos as proof, but they refused, insinuating that maybe I had done something to cause the problem. That was completely disrespectful! I had no reason to lie; I just wanted a fair solution.
When I asked for a refund, they said they couldn’t do that. Their response was indifferent and showed no intention of resolving the issue.
Finally, I called my sister to tell her what had happened. She offered to come to my house and take the soup back to the restaurant since she lives nearby. But honestly, I didn’t want anything to do with those people anymore. I won’t let anyone treat me like a liar.
My sister had to leave her house, drive to my place, and then go to the restaurant to resolve the issue. Honestly, I don’t understand how they operate like this, with such poor service and such an unprofessional attitude. This restaurant clearly doesn’t know how to treat its customers. What a huge disappointment! I’m never going back to that place, and I hope others are cautious about going there. It’s obvious they don’t care about their customers or providing good service.

Came here after the Hartford Marathon and got tacos and they were 10/10. My wife loved her meal as well. Everything was fantastic. Would definitely recommend and come back.
Wow, 4 years in the USA and I came because of a recommendation from a friend. Since I tried the dishes, this place has become my favorite... in addition to the exquisite cooking, they serve a lot and at a reasonable price... I recommend it with closed eyes 🥰
