I went to this cafe without ordering ahead of time, big mistake. The soup of the day was tomato soup. I asked the person taking the orders if they put cream or milk in it. She looked at me as if I were crazy and stated, it has tomato in it. Okay, never mind. I then proceeded to ask for a garden salad with a scoop of chicken salad. She asked me if I wanted a sandwich, not once but a few times. She had to get the assistance of her coworker. I received about a cup of chopped iceberg lettuce, a slice of tomato, four slivers of peppers, three green and one red, and approximately 1/4 cup of chicken salad. I paid $9.08. I’ve been there in the past and have ordered ahead and there was no wait. Today I spent 20 minutes of my 30 minute lunch break getting a terrible salad.

Great little spot for breakfast or a sandwich. A comfortable space and friendly staff - good coffee.

It's a really nice little cafe, and make wonderful place to come, grab a cup of Joe and then read a book. The staff are an amazing bunch and they will pick up on your name if you become a regular just FYI

Went to the london cafe, caused of an information of Google Maps. It's such a lovely place with very friendly and nice stuff. I had the best pancakes, i've ever had.

The above is a quote from GB Shaw that was written on the wall of the New London Cafe and it complimented the brilliant breakfast I had today. It really was the best poached egg breakfast I have had and the chef clearly took pride in their job. We stumbled on this cafe today and then looked it up on Trip Advisor after breakfast. We were not surprised at the number of excellent reviews and have no doubt they will keep coming. To be honest we chose it because it was one stop away from Kings Cross Station and a 4 minute walk. That makes it accessible from anywhere in London :) Are you in London and looking for somewhere great for breakfast? Then take virtually any tube to Kings cross, change to the Victoria line and go one stop to Highbury & Islington Station. You won't regret it.

Wonderful atmosphere, pleasant staff, and prompt service. I had the Big Ben breakfast and was not disappointed. The bacon was perfectly crisp but not greasy, the eggs were cooked to my liking, and home fries were out of this world. Will return.

I was definitely surprised to find this little hidden gem a few months ago. However recent changes to the menu and staff is the reason why I only gave it 3 stars. The fries have changed and are no longer good. BRING BACK THE BATTERED FRIES!!!! Also I went yesterday and my toast was completely burnt. So until the London Cafe changes back to the battered fries, I will limit my visits. This saddens me. On the flip side I always get GREAT customer service from the gentleman who takes my order and rings me out.

I love this cafe bc it close and the people are vary friendly. One of the things I loved about the London cafe was Decore it packs a rustic look with bit and pieces of the history of the city it was name after. ALL IN ALL GOOD FOOD GREAT SERVICE.

A hidden Hartford gem for sure. Wonderful atmosphere, gracious service, delicious food & coffee, comfortable, cozy. First time in and it felt like home, felt like family. One of the best Chocolate Chip cookies I have ever had in my entire life no joke.
