“I celebrated my birthday lunch at Yosi's today and cannot say enough about my experience. Not only was the food delicious, but Yosi was warm, kind, flexible, and generous in his accommodating my food requests, providing samples of food to try (for free!), and even making me a fresh pot of coffee (at no charge!). My friend and I ordered an assortment of foods to try (falafel, hummus, tabouli, etc.) and everything was fresh, authentic, and flavorful. The Zatar pita was the best I have ever had--warm, plump and bursting with flavors. At the recommendation of a "regular," I bought some the Moroccan salmon to bring home, and it, too, was absolutely incredible. Yosi made it while I waited and, very kindly, accommodated the portion size I requested. Both my friend and I also bought the frozen bean soup and can't wait to try it. I could go on and on...The food and experience made for a wonderful birthday treat, and I cannot wait to go back.“
“This is a great place for an intimate dinner! I came here with a friend to catch up and it was the perfect place. We originally came because they have all night happy hour on Tues & Weds but the bar area was full (we came around 6 pm) so plan accordingly if you want to do this! Food & drinks were absolutely delicious. We got the Middle Eastern Sampler to split for an app- the pita was warm & soft, the tomato & cucumber salad was very refreshing esp because they added mint to it, but my favorite was the baba ghanoush which had a fun smoky flavor to it. We also split the prosciutto and artichoke heart flatbread which was yummy as well. Next time I'm gonna have to time it better to take part in their happy hour!“
“I had the pleasure of dining at this amazing Greek restaurant and I must say, the gyro platter was simply divine. The seasonings were spot on and every bite was bursting with flavor. Though I have visited this place before, I noticed that the taste can be inconsistent at times. However, when it's good, it's simply unbeatable. I always take the opportunity to indulge in their mouth-watering dishes whenever I get the chance.“
“These guys have the best gyros and kibbeh around. Not to mention the super tender pieces of lamb in their Mediterranean Bean stew or savory pieces of chicken in their curry. The prices could be twice as much, the brothers running the shop could be absolute jerks, and the food would still be worth it. The fact that neither of those things is true is just icing on top. All the commendations Tangiers receives are well deserved!“
