I had a good experience there. The staff could have been a little more friendly. The staff on shift were not welcoming, no smiles and when I asked the cost of something the woman at the counter made a face as if I were dumb. The atmosphere was nice and we sat for a little. The Mocha had a little too much mocha and that’s never happened before! Usually the baristas make it perfect!

I've worked in the building where Starbucks is located for over 14 years. I've visited in the past to request an cup of ice when our machines are down and never had an issue. I entered today to request an cup of ice. The gentleman at the counter was in the process of retrieving the ice when the pregnant employee took it upon hersefl to stop what she was doing to come over to intervene and advise the gentleman he was not allowed to give ice. I even offered to pay for the ice. I ws told I had to purchase an item inorder to get the ice. Very tasteless customer service. I will NEVER purchase from this location again.

This is a good clean Starbucks with fast service. It's a cool space where one can relax for a few minutes before an appointment or travel. High ceilings and comfortable seating.

Vegetarian options: They will remove the cheese from your Impossible breakfast sandwich upon request.

Customer service has gone down extremely the past 2 years, the former workers where more friendlier. Specifically there’s a woman barista w braids that works in the morning. She never seems happy to be there and she is rude and not welcoming, no good morning or anything. I get it, it’s early in the morning but if you’re not a morning person pick a different shift.

Permanently closed. Submitted a fix to Google Maps a couple months ago, but hasn't been published yet, so here is proof.

Makes zero sense that they do online orders dead last… doesn’t matter if you made it an hour ago, if there’s even one person that orders in line, they’ll do that order first. Defeats the entire purpose of it. Why does it take 40 minutes to get a drink you ordered online but 4 minute if you order in person??

I will never come back here again. The staff is unprofessional and ignorant literally. Customer service is terrible and the way they make coffee is disgusting ? it’s always watery with no flavor whatsoever. Staff was a younger with no respect and that white chick with green hair whatever that was smh did not greet nor acknowledge 3 people that were waiting for her to assist while she was in front of the register. I said hi and she walked away.
Customer service these days does not exist. SAD don’t come here !!

I tried the Caramel Macchiato and it was good not to sweet. However, this is the first time I bought a Berry Trio yogurt and I was very disappointed. According to the label on the front it is a mixed berry compote. A compote is whole or chopped fruit. I found one blueberry and red gel like substance. The label on the back listed the ingredients as Strawberries, Raspberries and Blueberries. I don't think it is worth the price. Thank you.

I watched as the barista poured about 1/3 of my iced coffee cup, only to dump out a portion making my coffee 1/4 full and the rest with ice, such a waste of money, i spent $5 on a quarter cup of coffee, dont go here.

Pushing It

As a former employee at this locations this is the most unprofessional and inhumane job I have had to date. This place smells and acts as a homeless shelter and the management sucks! I would never recommend this place for a quick stop or any bite to eat or drink as they have roaches. The machines are always dysfunctional and probably leak out chemicals into peoples drinks. Every time I am at work someone is dizzy or complains of feeling nauseous . And for taking on a work load of three people almost everyday making 16 dollars an hour is definitely no where near the labor you put in. I also had to pay for parking at a location that I work at and no compensation was made. I pushed to grow with the company and got nowhere with the management. I am now told I am no longer allowed in the surrounding area due to “policy and procedures” they are so hypocritical and promote being green when nothing gets recycled or reused. Unless you want an over bearing smell and a lack of human understanding I would never go to this location. Ridiculously expensive for a coffee and a small bite to eat. They are built off of coffee yet they worry more about how much the customer spends then actually making connection.ridiculous

A barista at the Hartford Asylum Street today waited on me with an attitude that was outright nasty and not in line with the company's values. No eye contact and not even a hello. Hands me my order like I don't even exist! I used to work for Starbucks years ago. I believe she assumed I was a homeless person. She is NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER to serve me again or I will go to corporate! She can go work for Dunkin' if she has such a problem with customers! That is all!
