Enjoyed the most mouthwatering jerk Pork made by my dear friend and Chef Audrey. Sophia is such a fantastic hostess.. Will always visit whenever I visit CT..
The food could use a little more flavor and there was no oxtail ready.
The food is very fresh and good I had the perked wings rice n peas gravy and a drink.

Sun Splash Bar and Grill is a small place with great food. It offers incredible value, like over 8 decent-sized, meaty oxtail pieces for $22, which is an amazing deal compared to other Jamaican restaurants on Albany Ave in Hartford. The flavor is always on point. Other popular menu items include curry goat, fried chicken, beef patties, and jerk chicken rice peas with steam veggies. A beef patty with coco bread fresh out of the oven is a highlight. The staff is quite accommodating, and orders through Grub Hub or Doordash come fast and are always on point. It is the best Jamaican restaurant in Hartford.
