Can’t believe I lived so close for five years and never came here I’ll Make sure and start coming more often. Great selection of fine and hard to find foods and more importantly a kitchen in the back. Very yummy and good service and top quality.

Stopped in for a small bite - great selection of groceries. We picked up a falafel wrap, chicken pita, and tabbouleh. Absolutely delicious, hit the spot.

I had a spare of the moment craving for lamb made simply and their lamb gyro satisfied this craving for me. I’ve known of this place for years and had never been until this day. There are many other specialties in this store. The people here are humble and kind. I will return. Thank you.

This is in my top 5 favorite places to eat in Hartford County. The owners and employees are so friendly and accommodating. Food is amazing…from the soup to falafel and gyro. Great grocery and produce selection as well.

Attended a party last night where Tangiers food was catered. I’m embarrassed to tell you how my lamb gyros I’ve eaten in the last 24 hours but to say I’m obsessed is an understatement. The Baba ghanoush was to die for as well! To say the least- this place will be my saving grace as I head back into the office downtown 3 days a week. Love love love this place! Can’t wait to check it out in person noting how good the product was from a take away perspective!

There is no other location that makes falafels like they do at Tangiers. It's a 10 out of 10, AMAZING!!!! Their food is so fresh! It's a family owned business and these guys understand what is means to be professional! Love, love, love!!!!

Overall the people are welcome they smile they greet you it’s clean they answer my questions about food only issue really my gyros meat is skimpy the lamb is already thin

Excellent fresh food and excellent fast service. The Turkish coffee was perfection, as was the falafel sandwich. I brought home all sorts of groceries and snacks. The overstuffed pistachio baklava was out of this world-best I ever had.

This place is the Mediterranean gem of West Hartford. We were completely blown away by how ample, delicious, and reasonable all the dishes were. The lovely family that owns the restaurant are incredibly kind and thorough. This is a must try and then frequent.
