“My husband and I had our wedding cake made at The Bakehouse. The owners are incredibly nice and generous. We even popped in a week before to ask if they had gluten free options for some guests of ours and they let us sample their almond cookies, which are AMAZING! Our cake was so delicious. It was a big hit, along with the cookies and the gluten free chocolate loaf. Thank you for your outstanding service! We will be returning when we are in the area.“

“We had the most wonderful experience at Saltwater Grille on Saturday night! After accidentally liking the Facebook page for this restaurant rather than a similarly named one in my town, I’ve spent the last few months looking at the posts and thinking I have to visit this place. The opportunity came to bring someone special there for his birthday and it was just amazing. Having eaten probably thousands of meals in restaurants I can tell you that I met the best server ever - Suzy. She was attentive without being intrusive, personable without being over the top and she has an amazing sense of humor. The food was outstanding as well which rounded out a perfect evening! We’re already planning another visit up when it’s warmer and we can enjoy the patio and live music!!“

“Taste of Thailand has excellent food. I've had delivery and dine in. The food quality is on point. This is my favorite place for Thai food. The Pad Thai is my favorite. The soups are good too. I love the Curry Puffs and the Mango Sticky Rice dessert. The service can be a little slow but the food more than makes up for it. The boba teas are also excellent and the base is dairy free which is excellent for my lactose intolerance.“

“Not a wine person. But had to post what a great place and experience this place is. So cool inside and outside. Great whites. I had a whole bottle of Riesling after the flight tasting. All of the whites are delicious. We will be back. Awesome experience.“

“I'm a Field Tech from Western MA. A friend of mine took me to Jimmy's 45 years ago. Torrington is a ways to go, but I take jobs there just so I can go to Jimmy's. In 45 years little has changed, especially the quality of the prepared foods. I was raised on Italian food, and this is as good as it gets. I have a job in Torrington tomorrow. See you for lunch, and get something special for Sunday dinner. And the staff there is a joy as well.“

She makes the croissants and English muffin bread from scratch, and uses the thickest bacon around on her sandwiches. Everyday there’s something new in the baked goods case, and I never regret getting it (cough cough carrot cake cheese cake coffee cake) 🤤. Love hearts is truly a hidden gem“

“We're currently training our dog, she's a good dog, but she hasn't been many places in public yet. Staff at Bad Dog was very understanding and kind when we explained. The crowd there was really sweet with her, and I can't say enough good things about the people who run Freedom Food Truck. We had a great time, and will be back often. All that on top of delicious food and beer, this will be a regular hang out for us. I'm so happy we finally stopped in! Thank you for being amazing, Bad Dog!“

“My favorite place to get sushi in town. Your order comes out pretty quick and the service has always been great, the lady that works at the counter is especially friendly. I typically get take out but if you're looking to dine in you shouldn't have trouble finding a table as I've never seen the place very busy.“

“So I have to give so much praise to this winery. First off Jeff is absolutely amazing. I reached out to him back in Feburary asking about using the winery to get married in April and Jeff was so easy to talk to and was so easy to make plans with so I had the best day. Second off a huge shoutout to the staff of the winery. I was married on April 13th 2024 and it was rainy, windy, and incredibly cold. They let us get married on their deck and out of the rain no questions asked. I went back today on 4/15 to pick up a bottle of wine because I want to have it to drink on my one year wedding anniversary of a wonderful memory of the beautiful place we got married at. The ladies behind the bar were so kind and helped me pick the best wine to my liking. Thank you so much for giving me a beautiful place to get married and a beautiful place to have created beautiful memories with those I love the most. “We have been to Uncommon many times and the food is always amazing and we have always had a great experience all around but I want to say we had the absolute best service here tonight so I wanted to thank our server Justin D. for an outstanding dining experience tonight. Justin was professional and has a really fun personality. Even though the restaurant was crazy busy we never had to ask for anything, Justin was just there anytime we needed anything. The support staff also did an amazing job tonight as well keeping the table clear of empty glasses and dishes and running food. Just an over all lovely experience.“

“Delicious fried shrimp platter. Shrimp was perfect, spicy fries are good. Not spicy enough IMO. Cocktail sauce and tartar sauce are really good. I am not a fan of vinegar slaw. I think buttermilk would be the much wiser choice for seafood. The flies annoyed me when they're landing on me but it's all open which is nice. Bathroom trailer is kind of gross TBH. Also, it's just really expensive. It's not the place I can just bring a family of 7 to, so we can take a break from cooking.“

I don't live close to Marty's, but whenever I'm close by, I stop by for the tasty food (I enjoyed the wheat berry salad this time!) and the friendly atmosphere.“
