We had a great experience here. The food was excellent, and the service was attentive and welcoming from start to finish. Highly recommend.
This a gem of a place. We sat at the bar and it was a community of its own. The pate de campagne was amazing.
Excellent appetizers (Beef Tartar & Bar Bouchée Salad) and very good entrees (Coq au Vin, Spaetzle and Burger). Wine offerings are well priced and the bottle that was recommended to us was on point. Very attentive service...will be back for sure.
An outstanding experience, as always. And the food and drinks were top-notch. My favorite place for fine intimate dining along the shoreline!

Excellent food and great service. Everything that we ordered was very well prepared and presented. The enclosed outdoor dining are was plenty warm - even in January.
Wonderful dinner and drinks with great friends. Ourselves was a lovely young woman who paid attention to our needs and was so pleasant; I wish I had remembered to get her name.

This is my favorite restaurant in CT. They get it right, every time. The grazing plate, seared Maine sea scallops, and the ginger martini are my favorites of this season’s menu.

Quality food in a tastefully decorated ambiance. Very friendly staff. A definitive gem in Madison, CT
Very tight seating. Food was absolutely amazing 10/10. Server was amazing. Just didn't care for the rude customers sitting too close to me.

Loved this place! Can't wait to go back. We got the arctic char and the moules frites - both SUPERB. Best restaurant we have found so far on the shoreline!
Excellent experience, food, cocktails!
Discovered Bar Bouchée after Le Petit Cafe in Branford closed. This is now our favorite French restaurant to celebrate special occasions. The atmosphere is quaint, and love the staff. Our visit in September we ordered the Classic Escargots, Coq Au Vin, Gratin Dauphinois, and the Fricassée Of Local Mushrooms. Recommend making reservations for inside the main building instead of the attached expansion tent area. The kitchen has an open window which is lovely to see the kitchen flow and preparations. Food is fabulous and they staff have staff are kind.
