We always enjoy our visits to this sweet spot. House salad was perfect as usual and our entrees were delish. Service was excellent.

My favorite restaurant in the area, hands down. The food is thoughtfully prepared and high quality. The service is top notch. Professionalism paired with genuine care and attention. Everyone is fantastic. Christine at the front is a gem!

Outstanding! From the ambiance of the enclosed patio in a thunderstorm, to the service, to the food - the experience was fantastic. I'm already planning my next visit. Can't stop thinking about the mussels. They were delicious. Thank you!

Superb French bistro cuisine with tempting menu and thoughtful wine list. Christine is a delightful hostess, and Sage provides excellent service and good company behind the bar.

Went the day before Valentines Day.
Less pretentious, more relaxed . Food was comfort food with a classic French emphasis. We enjoyed both our meals. Service was spot on and noninvasive. Be prepared to spend a bit but worth it. . Engaged in light conversation with other diners.
Enclosed patio area is heated and mild swings in temp added to the atmosphere. A very nice experience.

This is a tricky review; I love this little gem of a restaurant but the quality of the food can be inconsistent, especially considering that the prices are rather elevated. Having said that some dishes are very good and service is definitely top notch. Reservations are a must and I do recommend getting a table inside this small but cozy place.

Fantastic spot! Great atmosphere, delicious food, and top-notch cocktails. Service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend Bouchee for a perfect night out. If you love French food dining here is a must.

The service is great and the bald gentleman server is top-notch. The moules were full and the sauce excellent. The potato/leak soup needed a bit more flavor, but otherwise had great texture. The bavette/frites was ok, but not spectacular. The tartare de boeuf was underwhelming and had an overpowering amount of mustard. The beef almost appeared cooked with not a spot of red to be found. The outside terrace might be nice in the summer, but I would recommend the charming interior instead. The space heaters were not ideal and detracted from the overall atmosphere (terrace 3/5, interior 5/5). Overall, the experience was 4 stars, however, I must deduct one for the Kitchen Appreciation fee.

The 3% surcharge added to your bill to cover the restaurant's kitchen staff is appalling. Are we to pay your electric and water bill too? This is directed at management/ownership. It has nothing to do with your staff, or leaving a generous tip for quality service. The tipping in the country has gotten out of hand and has become a consumer subsidy for wages instead of owners paying their staff a living wage. The patron is there to dine, not to subsidize your business operations. We won't be back if this doesn't change.

Sunday night dinner in November 2024. While the house salad and wine selections were very good, the entrees were disappointing - one fish and one beef. Fish lacked flavor. Beef was quite tough and needed salt. Beef entree was smothered in french fries which were not crisp. Not up to expectations, especially in view of premium charges for mediocre entrees. We would not return.

As someone born & raised in NYC, it’s been difficult finding restaurants I enjoy since my move to the shoreline. Bar Bouchée is that restaurant! The food is made thoughtfully and the team is always kind and accommodating. The chef spoke with me personally and went above and beyond to accommodate an allergy. A warm environment with top notch food! So grateful to have found it

You must order all at once....so if you want to start with an app, you need to tell them what your main course is at that time. The charcuterie board didn't come with crackers or bread. The coq a vin tasted a bit burnt. Nice bartender but she can hear everything you say at the bar......
